A dream of my father..
Feb 15th, 2006 at 9:06pm

My father passed away over 20 years ago.I have had one dream about him in all that time.I dreamed
that I was walking through the house I grew up in as a kid.In the corner of our livingroom ,my father had this hideous olive drab green recliner he sat in to read his newspaper. He LOVED this chair.
In my dream,I saw him in his chair with his feet propped up.I asked him what he was doing and all he said was "You don't love me".I was shocked and said "What did you say"?He replied again"You don't love me.You've never loved me".Every time I tried to discuss this with him,he repeated the same thing again and again.
Anyone have an idea as to what this dream might have meant?

Hi truth_seeker,
let's start with the simple direct possibilities:

--Your father is on the opinion that you haven't loved him.
--You are doubting that you have loved your father.

Truthseeker,

This might sound kind of funny but your dream could also have been an odd dreaming meditation by your inner self on the idea that you REALLY didn't love that green chair.

We are all capable of love. Please don't ever doubt that. Remember a time when you were really happy. Keep focusing on that and feel your heart open to the LOVE you have inside just waiting to come out. We are all sparks of God and God is LOVE. Wink

Truth Seeker,
I kwow this, I guess
"it's a long long way and got no end".
When I became a love seeker I realized that it's useful to focus alternating on to what degree I can
-give love (including myself)
-receive love (including from myself)
and in which way I perform it, because everyone has an own style.
There is not one without the other.
