Not sure what this would be called:

I Had just woken up, was very tired and just couldn’t get up. I
started drifting in and out of sleep, I was laying on my stomach,
something I rarely do, and then the buzzing started, and man
it was getting extremely loud, scary loud, all over my head, I
said to myself, “oh no..” then I was trying to move, I think I
lifted my head and I think I had my eyes open, but it seemed
like everything was in gray colors and very static…it was also very very hard to lift my head, everything felt so heavy. I’m
not sure If I just gave up, then I was able to open my
eyes and turn over and wake up.

A few minutes after that happened, then this followed:

I drifted back to sleep again, this time I was laying on my side. The buzzing started again, but this time it was not nearly as loud as the
previous time, I also felt someone actually start to lay down
next to me. I could feel the bed dip when they started to lay down and felt them up against me. I felt very heavy and hardly able to move.. I kept wondering who was laying next to me, but I couldn’t turn over
I just kind of kept trying to move, very slowly, and finally
was able to move and turn over and see no one there. But
the feeling that someone was there was very intense.

Then.... another:

I was laying on my side  facing the closet door.. I felt myself get heavy and almost unable to move, It felt as if someone was pulling up my covers towards my head, I was trying to get up and just couldn’t move, but I kept trying harder and harder, and my eyes were open and I saw the floor lamp next to me and as I was starting to get up the lamp was extending with me, like it was growing getting longer as I was moving and getting out of the bed finally making my way to the door, the lamp still next to me, then… I realized I was free and opened my eyes and I was still in bed and everything was normal size again.

So... If anyone has had this happen or know what it could be, I appreciate any comments.
Thanks,
Aras

Hi, Aras~

From the sensations you describe...heaviness, being unable to move, the gray area, the buzzing noise, drifting in and out of sleep...I would say that you experienced an OBE, or certainly an attempt at an OBE.  I have experienced those sensations at times when I became aware of almost going OBE, or perhaps returning from an OBE state (of which I was not fully conscious).  By the way...I am quite a beginner where OBEs are concerned and have never experienced a fully conscious OBE, but I hope this helps.

Love, Sydnei

Aras,

Get and read a copy of Robert A. Monroe's book, Journeys Out of the Body.  You are descibing the classic symptoms of an out of body experience.

Yep,  Definately symptoms of an OBE

I think that some people experience a 'buzzing' sound...  lke a swarm of angry bees,  others may experience a bright light,  others a vibration.  In my opinion these are all ways of experiencing an energy surge..  or energy transfer to the AStral body/spirit/second self ...  etc...

They are all just differnt ways of our 'brain' interpereting this information.

Regards,
Brian
