O yeah, I should have mentioned that the "real, and not real" comment is great as well because I play one in real life. Forget to mentioned that  Grin

Hi mattb1000,
a-ha! I thought you actually play it, only a tuba player would carry a tuba in a PE setting! Happy grooving!

Hi Alysia,
yes I think I know what you mean, I'm in a bluesband and we need a steady bass guitar! Don't know if a tuba would do it too.

hmmm Spooky, looks to me like we are forming a PE band in outer space, so anybody with an instrument come on along, although we don't have a new date set. I'll just wait and see if anyone's interested.

and we need an audience too. so u don't need an instrument..without an audience, simply can't perform... Cheesy  oh, spooky, a side note...my very first song I wrote was "Blues, you've been a real good teacher." they said I was out of date but if I paid them, they'd be glad to give me lessons. ??? Yes Alysia, seems where musicians are there are also those super wise guys telling them they need them for some lessons about how to play. Reminds me of a book title I saw: "Got the blues? Learn how to play it!" Ha, ha, well not funny when you really got the blues.

For me every second Saturday in every month is ok.

The cool thing for me is that on the first PE which I actually put intent on playing it 3 days before, someone comes up with a brass instrument.

I mean!, that is pretty damm cool!. No ones ever come up with a brass instrument before have they?

I may try to play a tune next time and see what people get Wink

Hi again mattb1000,
when I was on a walk today I remembered a little detail. When I was practicing recently with my bluesband, and we talked about that we need a bass guitar player, V. said: "If we don't get a bassguitar player maybe we get a tuba player, I saw it on tv, a tuba instead of a bass and it worked". It was before you mentioned your tuba, and -I think- after the PE. I don't make this up, really.

ok spooky, I get to take a little credit here, as I was asking myself when I thought about a tuba, could it actually replace the job a bass guitar does? and I couldn't figure it out, but you just answered my question.
sorry if this is off topic, but I'm still working on getting our band together in the sky. truly, would like to! Grin

Spooky, Im going to go over another paragraph of your experience and show a possible connection.

There was a kind of pit or big tube or something like that where you look down into it and there one can see something happening, like a 3D- movie,

A common assocation of playing a tuba is the fact that you have to sit through many bars rest, especially when you play in an Orchestra. Whenever  I sit there with the tuba on the floor waiting to come in I often find myself starring into the bell of the instrument, Does that sit at all with your pit or tube?

then it was like I was there somehow in the scene and I saw very briefly a blue car, not big, with a small trunk.

I would be very keen to know the exact type of blue as my previous car was close to this description and even though i have had a new car for several years that blue car always appears in my dreams. Several times i find in my dreams that I have the two cars on the street, and for some reason have the choice about which one to drive!?

Then I saw it from above driving on a road at night. Then it stops, there was something on the street, something dark, like a gap across the street, a big snake, I don't know what. The driver (I guess it was a woman) stopped in front of this something on the street, thinking about what to do now. She stepped out the car and looked at it. At that point I decided it must have been a dead animal. So now, what she had to do? Drive around it and don't care? No, too dangerous, someone could miss it to see and drive right into it, or see it too late and then driving around it on the other driveway could cause a crash because there was a street bend ahead and hard to see if a car was coming in the towards direction. She needed help and seems as if she was calling someone with the cell phone [later I doubt it thinking "were there already cell phones in use in this years?"] She thought "Oh sh.. now I have to wait here." Then after a while, a car came driving on her side of the road and parked behind her car, a police officer. He asked for her driving license etc. and that was going to get on her nerves. When the police officer told her she could drive on, she was attempting to pass the dead animal (or whatever it was) on the other side of the road and in that moment a truck came around the curve ahead, this was exactly what she had thought of before to be dangerous! But she stopped and the truck passed by. This st.... police officer could have been more careful and give her a warning!

feb 15, 2006. I had to work late and was driving home in the dark. Unfortunatly my head lights stopped working. street and main beam were ok just not headlights. Didnt notice this till I left the town. When I got to the part of the journey involving bending, snaking country roads I decided I had to stop as it was too dark without the headlights, I was concerned other cars coming towards me wouldnt see me with only my car's street lights. I stopped and rang the RAC with my cell phone. There was a slight misunderstanding on the exact name of the pub I decided to pull in at so thought to myself "damm I better wait outside now" The Van turned up alongside me and then the guy came out. He later then asked to see my RAC card which seemed pointless to me as I had already given my card details over the phone

The last part I am not sure on. There are other tenuous aspects of this association as well such as the he/she thing, the police/RAC thing etc. But there were enough similarities for me to think I better put this in the forum.

The colour of the blue car would be interesiting to know (which kind of blue). The tube, pit thing is also curious, did it seem metallic to you?

I know you will be honest with your answers. Maybe a hit, maybe not.

Hi mattb1000,

the pit and the tuba: This looking down on a scene which I talked about I had too on other mind-journeys before, for example when I observed some people planning or following one's life "down" on earth, they stand in an approx.circle position and were looking down on scenes appearing in this pit. But though, very common it is not in my journeys. So it isn't necessarily connected with a tuba horn, but maybe it is in this case, I don't know. Btw, I like your staring-in-the-tuba telling!

The car: When I saw it, I was reminded of a car a friend drove when we hit a tree and changed it into rubbish, was around 1986 or 87. That car was in a kind of "normal"/ boring blue. The color tone was like the blue you use for 3+1 color offset printing, called cyan blue or process blue, but the car's blue was of a greyer hue, dirty, not shiny. More dark than light. It was a Japanese one and it had this small trunk, looked almost like a little compact estate car, but had this little trunk.

The car lights: My English is limited, so I'm not sure which lamps work and which not in case of your car, so if the lights for the far distance stopped working, the "gap" I saw, a kind of dark line across the street ("big snake" haha) maybe represented the border between light and darkness on the street when you only had the near-distance lights working. Well, maybe stretched, but came into my mind.

And that you was asked for your RAC card though you already had provided these datas, well it's a bit too similar than just to be a  meaningless coincidence; or how probable is that that I was coming up with this tiny detail and you remember yours?

I find this interesting! When I made some ESP/RV experiments it was typical that I saw other, similar things which substituted the original things, and often it was too much to be only random coincidence, but too less for a really striking hit. So, let's go further! Your engagement is the right attitude to achieve verifications for mental connections.

Spooky
