At various times throughout my childhood, I had this re-occurring dream. I believe it was a pre-cog dream as well.
I would find myself walking down this dark narrow corridor, towards a wooden door at the end of it. I reached the door, opened it and stepped into the room. The room was square and bright white.
There was only a rocking chair in the room, and my grandmother was sitting it it, rocking away doing her knitting. She never said a word to me but looked at me and smiled.
As I was watching her, the door slammed shut behind me. I ran to the door, trying to open it, i was panicking. It was no use, the door just wouldn't open. So I turned around and looked at gran. She started fading away, and eventually, there was no one in the rocking chair, but the chair kept rocking by itself.
I've had this dream many times. But when I was 17 years old, my gran had a massive stroke. She died of another massive stroke when I was 18. To me, she went from an active, independant woman to a very sick woman who couldn't do anything for herself. Yep, that dream stopped when I was 18. But even now I know she's around me, hence the chair rocking by itself.
Thanks.
