Because it could not be any other way.

There can be no such thing as nothing.

It is impossible for there to be no space or energy.

And the only something that can exist, is what does exist. Nothing else is possible.

The laws of physics and mathematics, and how things are, are the only way that they can be.

This is reality, it is truth.

Why?

Because everything is mathematically sound, can be mathematically represented, and mathematically verified. And mathematics cannot be any other way than how it is.

And yes, I agree, it is because God exists that everything exists.

I did. It felt like my head was shrinking.

One time, when I was about 5 or 6, I was lying in bed and for whatever reason I tried to wrap my mind around the concept of nothingness. I tried to imagine a huge door just shutting down all existence, no people, no earth, no sun or stars, just nothing.

I couldn't do it.  It was impossible.  Even at that age I somehow knew that a state of complete nothingness was impossible.

So nothing is impossible except for nothing?   :D

   I do agree.

(I so do hope my levity infused brevity is pleasing to the folks here)
