Title: TAPS for soaring spirits
Post by betson on Jul 14th, 2010 at 3:36pm
Hi

Military musical themes are often lock-step blaring arrangements. This version of Taps goes back to the surprising original.  I think this is much better suited for lifting soldiers', or anyone's, souls into the afterlife --

I noticed this a few days ago, Bets. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I like, also, how the instrument is held, when she is done. Like she is presenting it to the audience, as if to say, here, respectfully, as if to allow the applause to be given to the instrument itself.

Yes!

That's lovely, didn't notice it, b2 --thanks.

Also she doesn't huff n puff.  The sound just pours out and at the end you can't even see she's breathing.
I think her Higher Self is involved :o

Bets
