How do I post my photo on the site George

Since this question comes up so much, I'm thinking about creating a "sticky" note to refer all those who need help getting their image in their profile.  Would anyone like to help me create a step-by-step, which would address all the questions/issues that have come up regarding this subject?

Here is what I have so far (thanks to augoeideian for the info):

1.  Have your picture in your 'my pictures' folder. 2.  Google or yahoo 'imageshack' (excellent picture hosting service provider). 3.  Read imageshack instructions - click the browse button and upload from your computer. 4.  Your 'my pictures' automatically opens. 5.  Double click on your picture that will put the link in the instruction box. 6.  Click on re-size for avatar (the smallest one) 7.  Click host it. 8.  Lots of links come up.  Choose the last one - direct link to image.  Highlight it and copy it. 9.  Sign into your profile here on the board - change profile. 10.
