In recent years Bruce’s health had limited his ability to be as present on his site as he would have liked.  Some new rules were necessary and designed to eliminate the issues causing the arguing on the forums. 

Bruce said, “My wish is for the Conversation Board to continue on past my death for many years to come.  I want it to be a safe place for people to share their experiences, curiosities, and questions about the afterlife.  That’s what I created it for.  I would rather have less people posting here than to have all the bickering that has been going on for so long.  Maybe it will give those folks a chance to post who have been visiting but were too afraid to write anything for fear of being run off by those who like to argue or force their beliefs on others.”

posting guidelines have much improved over when I was here. that's for sure. I agree with them. not too surprised the regular posters, some, still are not paying attention to the new rules. this site an improvement over Facebook though! yay! :D
