Stories from her own career/life experiences with hospice patients and their families. Also illustrated is the personal nature of the experiences and the 'knowing' which comes from them.

2 Corinthians 5:17 is a powerful verse. That whole passage is powerful about reconciliation of self with God through Christ. And by my own experience I know it is true.

I too was a hospice nurse, for 6 years, and have lots of interesting deathbed stories. Strange experiences involving birds in relation to death are quite common. Birds are natural communicators.

The greatest lesson I learnt from hospice work is the power of and the importance of forgiveness between people. There were lots of other lessons too, but forgiveness is the greatest lesson I had.
