Not long ago while sleeping,i was awakened by a women,s screams.i jumped out of bed and ran out in the living room.I live on the 15 floor,but there was a stair case here now.A woman was calling my name and said there is somebody at the door.I ran down the stairs turned on the light over the door.I said there is no one out there.I thought this was an aspect of myself. is this possible?I am 80 years old but I looked about 22.this must be my wife who was also very young.Can this be another lifetime i am living. george

Interpreting others dreams and experiences is not my specialty and I tend to think we usually interpret them best for our self, though occasionally with a little help from others.

I gave your description some careful thought because it seems quite symbolic. It has similarities to the story of Jacob"s ladder in Genesis Chapter 28, verses 10 to 22.

I think your estimation of the experience is probably likely, that yes there are different aspects of yourself portrayed.
 
Here are some thoughts I had about it, with question marks because they're just wonderings. They just some thoughts and I'm not suggesting they apply to you so take them broadly and lightly; at most just something to muse on:

The multi-storied building being your/our overall abode? the universe composed of the elements? / the planes of existence from high to low? all existence under God?     
The woman's scream being the output and call of sound/resonance/vibration? of matter/material life? the call of incarnation? of experience and material life?
The ladder connecting high and low aspects of your self? the silver cord? the extension of self from overself.
Descending the ladder from up high to ground floor - incarnation??
The woman / your wife? playing a facilitatory/assisting/guiding role? the role of love?
The door being our outward awareness at ground floor level / our outlook in life?
The light being the light we bring to this the ground floor?
No one outside the door - is anyone whom we think we see really there? or really there in full? or are we extensions of our higher selves, like pseudopods?
Aged 22  -an age of full birth, after we have fully emerged physically, emotionally and mentally into this life? An age generally representative of full incarnation?
