Title: Purpose of "My Place" in Focus 27? Post by PauliEffectt on Aug 5th, 2012 at 5:35pm
Sometimes I've read about the TMI concept of creating a place of your own in Focus 27.
At first I didn't put too much thought into it, but now that I've been more active and put effort into the creation of a My Place in the astral, I wonder what's the purpose of it? I've also noticed some things I didn't expect, but I first would like to hear what others of you think before putting my own experiences in the forum. Why create a My Place in F 27? |

First off, Pauli, it is a great exercise of your imagination at how your mind can create things.
Secondly, the thought is that if you can put work into creating your astral home, and work on the details, etc. then when your body does fall away in death, your mind can transition there quite easily as it is a mental place that you've been to many times before. Lastly, it just gives some people pleasure, much like building things in the physical world does. M |

Oh! Really! Doc! So every dead perverted asshole can create their Utopia in the Astral?......As a self-created imaginative world, according to you, it must be sheer chaos for the rest of us venturing into the mind created 'imaginative' world of yours and others!?? |

harvey, Actually, I would imagine that a highly intelligent, yet, evil consciousness could create a large fantasy world filled with acts considered vile and evil to most.
It's one thing when creating your own fantasy place, in such a place, anything goes. period. But this is all internal so to speak.. meaning, it cannot effect other consciousnesses unless they allow it to. I could easily see abusive relationships existing even in the afterlife. Perhaps on a lower plane of existence, I don't know, but I could see that being highly likely to exist. |

One of the ways I see my place in 27 is as a haven for me to prepare for when that time comes when I will need a place to recoup my energies. Take into consideration that focus 27 is across the bridge, and not here within the physical. For me, I may not wish to come back right away, if at all, to here, and as time is of no significance, spending some there might be the thing to do. Better to be prepared so should this physical existence (mine) come to an end where I need that recovery place, mine is ready, comforting and healing, also easy to find after repeated trips back and forth. Its also a great place to relax after a difficult recovery. Few and far between these days, but on occasion I still get pulled that direction to help where I can. Sometime I am not as successful as I would like and have negative energy with me ...thats when I go there. Just to recoup and re-energise. Its easy to get there, just follow the guild-posts.

pull your sh!t together Harvey. Why would anyone want to create all that negative energy in 27? There is still plenty of space in the lower realms for that trash.

Maybe anyone can create a "My place" in the astral, but I have no idea if
that "My place" always ends up in F 27. A terrible criminal could perhaps end up in F 23 or completely become absorbed by any corresponding BST area? I don't even know if my "My place" is within F 27. :) |

I must admit my opinions differ from the focus level concept. I personally do not believe in a focus level numbering concept regardless. This is my choice, my opinion, of course. I have obviously chose to mock this numbering system based on my name as well, but it's all in fun and I just figure I should get that out of the way now.
I believe that in the bitter end of all things the last thing you have left is yourself. In this final moment of self you create a special fantasy world which boundaries are only limited by your own imagination. In this existence literally anything is possible with your mental energy. It can be negative, or positive. See? Obviously a negative creation is not the way to go, but in the end, all things can work out. It is always darkest before the dawn so to speak. |

Hey Harvey,
It is true that imagination does not have to be used for good purposes. But Focus 27 is not an area that most ill-intentioned people will find themselves. As Bruce and other explorers describe, the mind-set of Focus 27 is that of basically good people who express love and do not harm each other. There are lower level realms, and since like attracts like, your "perv" people would likely find themselves in a lower realm with others of the same mind. I doubt the meditation and genuine love-based exploration found in those travelers who enter Focus 27 would be done by ill-intentioned people. So, sure I suppose you can create in negative zones too, but that is not what Focus 27 is about. M |

That’s a neat term used earlier in the thread, that these created places are ‘havens.' I think there must be a reason why 'haven' sounds alot like 'heaven.’
I don’t think any little creation like my individual place will mess up the big picture up there although I used to wonder about that too. Vile and evil attitudes can’t rise to FL27 and upwards. That’s the main organizing principle. It’s a truth also brought back by many afterlife explorers before Monroe and Moen. What Moen and Monroe have added is that we can interact with the afterlife and not just sit back and wait for some priestly type to describe it to us. |
