Something strange happened to both Denise my wife and I this early this morning. While lying in bed at about 5am, but awake, our DVD Player/machine ( While on a nearby cabinet to me), switched on by itself, and began to operate and play music automatically (I did not touch it).



We were both flabbergasted by this seemingly impossibility, (to say the least), and I. got off the bed to take a look at the DVD PLAYER which was on a nearby cabinet away from the position on the bed where, we were sleeping (where it is always located), to observe) and to try to find out how this very strange event had happened. I got up and saw that the two redundant extra loudspeakers that I always kept on top of the DVD PLAYER had both been pushed back, right off the top of it, revealing a fine layer of static dust on its surface (that one usually finds adhering to an electric devices such as the DVD recorder/Player)



On this fine dust on the top surface of the DVD PLAYER, (to my astonishment) was a clear imprint, of an adult human hand. I firmly believe that the hand imprint was somehow put there by Dad (Piper) who had somehow found a way to break through from the afterlife, to comfort our family, in this time of unspeakable crises and sorrow



The CD that I had loaded a few days earlier began to play (on its own) the beautiful song namely “Green sleeves” the piece of music that Dad had loved so much during his life. It was definitely his most favourite record that and he used to often whistle this beautiful melody. All of us in the family loved him and loved knew him would verify this fact about him as true as an undeniably fact about his life.



I would like to emphasise to the extreme that there was no outside interference and what happened is exactly as stated in the above verses

My dad passed away in 1987

Any comments such as I have had a similar experience?

Alan, I'm sorry to hear you are going through "this time of unspeakable crises and sorrow."  Are you referring to personal health issues or family problems?  In any case, tampering with mechanical devices seems to be a common way spirits make their presence known (e. g. lights switched on or off, clocks inexplicably stopping, kitchen objects being rearranged, etc.).

Those in the afterlife have so many ways of making their presence known.

Several years ago a talk-in radio show's host asked his listeners to call with any experiences they had that provided evidence of survival.  (apologies to old timers on the board who already heard this story).

During the show a lady called in about a funeral she had attended after the husband of her best friend had died.

After the funeral, mourners gathered at the widow's house.  As they were sitting in her living room, they were suddenly startled by a vase that had been sitting on a TV set.

The vase suddenly started moving across the room to where the widow was sitting and then came crashing to the floor.  A few of the people actually saw a pair of ethereal hands holding the vase but no body.

Instead of frightening the widow, she was instantly comforted and actually was smiling.  She told the other people that her husband while alive hated that vase and many times threatened to toss it in the trash.

To her this was proof positive that her husband was alive and by smashing the hated vase she had no doubt that it was him.

Evidence of survival can be subtle, like the sensation of hands being pressed on your body or dramatic like the story above.  Why the huge variation in such things I don't know, but they all go to show that we live on.

My little nephew of six who had been struggling with brain cancer since the age of two finally died in his mothers arms.This is despite constant prayers by myself, friends  and people of the cloth like you .

This is interesting to me, Alan. I am a former member. Recently my cd player has been turning on by itself. I have a cd in it and it plays without me turning it on. The machine is usually on standby, so I cannot say that there is no power available.

However, after this began happening about a month ago, I'm not sure exactly when, and after I realized that it was repeating a few times a week, I thought of you. I'm not sure why, except that I remembered another member stating that she knew that you had been in her house before. This, though you live in another country which is not her own. That she felt you had traveled to her location, in spirit, and not that she felt it, but that she knew it.

That sounds kind of crazy, but I was thinking, is someone in my home? Who could it be? And, that is when I remembered you. I did not seriously think it was you, but I have continued to wonder how this happens.

I was recently told to move the remote for the machine to a place far away, and to remove the batteries. You see, the cd/turntable/radio player machine has a small remote, which I keep inside it.

The machine turns on when I am watching television. At no particular time, just sometime during the evening while I am watching tv. And only a few times a week. Nothing else could be affecting it, as I have watched carefully. It turns on when I watch television, and nothing is disturbing the machine in a physical sense.

So, to make a long story short, here you are asking about a similar occurance. Asking whether it has happened to someone else. Yes, I can say. Yes it has.

So, what that means, I cannot say. I can only say yes. Yes it has happened to me.

Hi again, Alan. I just thought you would be amused by this update. I took the remote control to my machine to work, and put it in a filing cabinet. That was Monday or Tuesday. I then thought, Oh, I guess this thing won't happen anymore. It didn't all week.

Then, on Saturday, after I had thought to myself, Well, it is kinda boring but I guess nothing is going to happen anymore, I was watching tv.

It happened again. The sound of birds singing. The cd player had turned on by itself. I noticed that it was just after I had changed a channel on my tv that I heard the cd -- birds in a bamboo forest -- chirping beside me.

But, these machines are not connected, except that they are on the same power strip.

So, I suspect there is some logical reason why this is happening. But I sure as heck don't know what it is. I've been told to unplug the machine.

The Masters of Light have predicted that a machine will be invented to communicate two way between the Spheres of Light and down here on Earth.

These people are working on that.

I'm really going to stop reporting on my machine. But....it continues to occasionally turn on by itself. This past Saturday night it turned itself on...and then off. That's a first, that I know of. It was on briefly, then off. I didn't have to get up and turn it off. From doing some online reading I find that this turning on and off of machines is kinda common. Possibly due to static, power surges, etc. Who knows? All I know is, it didn't used to happen, and now it does.

But, I know this thread isn't really about my machine, it's about your dad. I think your dad could have contacted you. It's not for me to say, but for your heart's knowing.
