There have apparently been a couple of hoaxes with hackers hacking dead people's email account and sending emails.

But isn't an email some form of energy too? So, maybe, people in the afterlife are learning how to convert energy and generate an email?

Maybe Steve Jobs is helping them with this new energy there ;) Would be interesting!

Yet in this situation the mother probably does sound complicit.
Steve Jobs hopefully is over helping Robert Monroe :)
