There has been a lot of talk on this site about helpers, guides, and guidance before.  Yet, very little attention has been given to the different possible "categories" of guidance there are and can be for different folks depending.   I talked about this a little bit on another thread.  Here's what i found so far about this whole guidance issue which seems more relative and complex than most talk about. 

   Before i do, i will point out that this relativity and complexity is due to a Consciousness 'law' of sorts which runs through all levels of this Universe, and most easily and purely seen in the purely 'nonphysical' levels so called.  This Law has been called various things, but i call it "Like attracts, begets, and resonates with Like".   There is no getting out of this Law's influence, it's a very part of the structure of this Creation and is in constant motion and all are subject to it, even the One who created it to begin with.

   The first category we might call "Expanded Guidance".  This is the most helpful, effective, and accurate source of guidance we can tune into.  I will go in more depth in a bit.

    Then the 2nd main category we have, we might call 'Helpers'.  These are relatively helpful and relatively accurate.  They are most accurate about day to day stuff that doesn't involve precognition or really, really deep and spiritually expanded subjects.

  The 3rd main category is not really 'guidance' at all, but one we can aptly name "impostors".   There is not much direct spiritual helpfulness to be found here.  HOWEVER, if one is tuning into these, one can be fed accurate info about material things.  This is in order to impress and deceive better, to make one think one is getting real guidance.   I'm not going to go too much into these because i talked enough about them in the thread about ACIM.   I will point out some general, helpful pointers about this category later. 

  Back to the 1st category of Expanded Guidance.  As mentioned, these are the most spiritually helpful and effective ones to tune into. But what are "they"?   They are those who have worked hard and have chosen to become pure Love.  They are 'complete', and they know their full Oneness with with both Source and all of Creation.   They have become Co-Creator Gods with Source of other Universes, realities, and living, freewilled Consciousnesses (their and Sources 'children' in a sense) whom they hope will grow in their systems and become like them--also full Co-Creators with Source. 

   To connect with these, speaking in a general sense, often for most requires two things.  The specific intention, desire, and request to connect to these along with remembering and/or bring up strong feelings of a more Universal Love and/or a lot of Gratitude.  The less common and more automatic way is to be unusually spiritually mature and very well balanced and coordinated between one's physical, mental, and spiritual levels. 

  Because these have access to ALL information and data, and only have intentions of spiritual helpfulness and they themselves are purely creative in nature, they cannot and will not mislead or hinder you in any way whatsoever.  I can't recommend enough making a definite practice of hooking up to only these for 'guidance'. 

Edgar Cayce's guidance often strongly advised the same.  His guidance indicated it was better to bypass the "middle men" of regular 'helpers' and go straight to the Source and to those fully intune with same.  Cayce's guidance knew what it was talking about, because in most cases and in most readings, his work was of or directed by these same purely Universal and Creative-Constructive, and fully expanded levels of Guidance.   Occasionally they would "send" a more regular Helper type, but they knew the Helper though not at their level was the right one for the specific job and communication that Cayce needed to get through.   Also, to some extent it depended on the intents and desires of those coming to Cayce for help.

   This category of Expanded Guidance can be perceived in different ways, and probably will be perceived slightly differently by individuals but with common factors.   Feelings of immense expansiveness, joy, deep peace and above all unconditional Love will often accompany their presence and your energetic connection to them.   

  For myself more particularly, i sometimes spontaneously perceive "White Light" when communicating with these.  In my own practice, my intent is like what Cayce's guidance recommended.  I always seek them first and foremost.   

  It is somewhat rare for these types to incarnate here more directly.  When they do incarnate here, they often do so during more pivotal, change, and transformation filled cycles.  Sometimes they incarnate as people who move into more direct spiritual teaching or facilitating roles.  Sometimes they are near the brink of completion, and do one last lifetime here to wrap things up and to help retrieve and facilitate consciousness expansion simultaneously.   

  Helpers:  These are much like your fellow inphysical friends in some ways.  Some maybe a little bit more mature and aware than you yourself, at or about at your maturity, or possibly slightly less mature than you.  They have helpful intentions and can be spiritually helpful, but they don't always provide the most accurate and helpful information because they lack full knowledge and awareness of all factors involved, unlike the first category. 

Like i said, they are much like your nicer in-physical friends that give you advice when asked and seek to help you.  Usually, they are wise enough to realize this to some extent about themselves (lack of full awareness) and so they don't tend to be all that "Yang" in communication.  They tend to offer gentle and laid back advice and suggestions.   They tend to speak more in "Maybe this could help you.." type ways. 

   Contrast that at times with the 1st group of Expanded Guidance.  These can be more intense and in your face at times, especially if you are a more mature consciousness yourself.   They know they speak of and from authority, and with those who know better they expect you to listen.   Of course they respect your freewill, but my experience with these at times has been a little more intense than with regular ole helpers.  I will give an example.

   Many years ago, back in 97 or 98, i had a very vivid dream wherein a tall figure strode up to my house and walked right in to talk to my mother, grandmother, and i who were sitting in the living room and talking.   His radiation was quite powerful and intense, and he spoke with quiet but powerful authority. 

  I knew he was the one known in history as "John the Baptist", and true to his forerunner nature, he started telling us that we NEED to prepare ourselves, to pray, to meditate, to get ourselves intune more because of the coming Changes and because The Teacher would eventually be making a public appearance again.  He mentioned something to me about eventually making my way to the mountains or caves at the right time.

   There was no, and's, if's, or buts about it.  It bordered on a command, and we knew he spoke the undiluted truth.  When such a powerful and Divine force speaks, it's wise to listen.  While the Forerunner was not fully of and expressing only the White Light in his inphysical life, he had grown to that level in the nonphysical and i can't stress the power of his radiation. 

   Courtney Brown wrote in his first book, Cosmic Voyage, that his Remote viewing trainer picked a target for him which he didn't know beforehand.   He ended up talking to "Jesus".   Yeshua, was like other Light Beings he had met in that he was full of and radiated a lot of Love, joy, and Light, but that oddly he occasionally spoke to Courtney in a more authoritative way.  Btw, the target that the Remote Viewer trainer had picked unbeknownst to Courtney had indeed been "Jesus". 

  In Edgar Cayce's work, on a few rare occasions, the Consciousness known as the Archangel Michael (and called the "Lord of the Way" by Cayce's guidance) occasionally spoke directly through Cayce's body. 

  And it wasn't usually a gentle, typical new age channeled session of, "dear friends, dear ones... we are going to tell you something that will make your ego's feel all nice, warm, and cozy." 

   On one occasion, Michael lambasted the group for their continued errors. 

   People that were there during these Readings when Michael came through Cayce, all described similar feelings and perceptions.   They had felt like a wave of extremely powerful force blew through, and there was such a heightening of vibration that it brought tears to their eyes, and the force of the Cayce's "voice" was booming even though before one reading Cayce had almost completely lost his voice again and started the reading out in a hoarse whisper till Michael came through.

  Like i said, in one particular reading, he strongly chastised them for not living up to their end of the bargain in this work.  To those with more awareness, and to whom much has been given, much is required of.

  You might say, but such loving and Source attuned consciousnesses would never criticize or chastise anyone, because love is not "judgmental".  No, love is not judgmental and there is never harmful intent in Love, but discrimination and impersonally pointing out lacks can be part of the Yang side of Love, which we men know better as "tough Love", which we occasionally have to show to our rebellious teenage sons or the like. 

  In Monroe's work and the guidance sessions he had with his various explorers, he and his explorer Rosiland McKnight were gently but definitely chastised by "Ah So" and group for their lack of discipline and consistency in doing that which would bring forth clearer information.  More specifically, Monroe and McKnight had had it earlier pionted out to them the importance of DIET and health lifestyles in this work and that they needed definite changes in that area. 

  When they didn't listen, they were told flat out more or less something like, since you didn't listen and aren't willing to make the necessary changes, until you do so, we will not work with you in this capacity anymore.  Tough luck folks and tough love again.  As i said in another thread, real teachers challenge you.   

  Contrast this with the 3rd Category of non guidance, 'guidance'--the impostors.   These will often tell you things you want to hear, things that make your insecure and lacking in light aspects 'feel good'.  They will try to flatter you and strengthen those lacking in Light and insecure aspects of self.  They may give you soem accurate info about different subjects. 

  Once they have you hooked though, they will start the subtle undermining.  They especially do this through partial, semi, and half truths laced with very limiting and deceptive information.  Some of these are very, very, very clever and make Max of Bruce's book look like a dim witted chump.  They will subtly direct you to focus on more materialistic pursuits or vice versa to ignore the world--to think and feel it's an illusion not worth bothering with much besides making money and enjoying earthly pleasures, and eventually they start very quietly whispering more harmful and disturbing thoughts.  They will tell you that pain and suffering is not real, they will subtly and constantly try to make you feel ever more apathetic towards the problems and issues of the world and of people's suffering.

  If you are prone to depression at all, they will try to increase this in various ways.  "Oh, you definitely want to eat more ice cream, cake, pork, fried food, etc, etc. drink more alcohol, smoke more cigarettes", etc, etc.  Once your body is imbalanced enough and you start to feel depression more keenly, then they will whisper the benefits of suicide into your ears quietly but insistently and constantly. 

  If you decide to stop listening to them and catch on to them some, they can become very, very loud and insistent and start to become extremely abusive towards you, pushing and pressing all the weak spots they can see in you, all your fears, insecurities, etc.   Their loudness is much different than the quiet but strong authority of the 1st group. 

   Putting it all together:  If you sincerely say practice, and feel Monroe's Gateway Affirmation, chances are that you will bypass the 3rd group i talked about (unless you yourself are immature and ill intentioned), and will either be directed to Expanded Guidance or  to regular ole Helpers, and to which depends on your spiritual maturity in the overall sense, and your more moment to moment attunement related to your emotional-feeling and thought pattern state. 

  I have experience with all 3 of these categories.  Speaking from experience, if one is interested in guidance, it is far best to specifically request only the help, guidance, and direction of the most spiritually aware, loving, mature,helpful, constructive-creative, etc.

  To strengthen that energetic connection, Bruce Moen's "Remembering the Feeling of Love" technique is excellent in combination.   But, if you really want to be more continuously and automatically connected to that first group, you must combine the above with a total dedication of self to Spirit, holistic service, and your spiritual growth. 

  This implies and requires a total, holistic health, and your physical body is also very much a part of it as well.  Eating as healthy and clean as you can, exercising, etc. etc with the intent of fitting yourself as the clearest channel of Love and Light that you possibly can be, will also very much strengthen those energetic connections.  If you truly pray like The Teacher of teachers prayed, "Not my will be done, but the Will of Source and the Creative Forces be done in and through me" and learn how to step aside from self and be a channel, then will you develop a more automatic and sure connection to the 1st group and your spiritual growth will expand exponentially.

  Once you've started to make a habit and real practice of this holistic attunement, then the 3rd category will barely ever influence you anymore, however, they will really pick up in their efforts to do so until you reach completion.  Once you are pure Love personified like the Teacher, they know you are a 'lost cause' and they can't even bear to be 'near' your presence.   

  Your very presence and command will even knock them out of the bodies of those so influenced and possessed. 

 

   

  Related to this thread and to the ACIM thread is an interesting excerpt from the Cayce readings. 

  This is what Expanded Guidance said through that channel: 
"For there has been the continued battle with those forces as Michael* fought with over the body of Moses. He that would lead, or would direct, is continually beset by the forces that would undermine."  Reading 2897-4

* "Michael" is that same Michael i talked about in the above, the "Arch Angel" whom Cayce's guidance called the "Lord of the Way".

   Relating to the 3rd category that i've talked about on this thread, and to issues i brought up on the, A Course In Miracles thread, are a couple of very vivid and powerful dreams that my wife had and which i have shared here in the past.

   This first one i would not call a "dream" at all, as it really seems to be more a direct remembrance of a nonphysical experience that took place while her physical body was asleep.  We both have had a number of very obviously "retrieval" oriented dreams.  This "dream" even had quite a powerful affect on her physical body.  She woke up in actual pain.

  This other dream (below) is about a strong, clever, and rather lacking in Love E.T. group, that we both have received a number of messages about which have told us they are very involved with this world and with humanity in various ways.  I use to not believe in or even consider the possibility of these because people like David Icke spoke about them.  Sometimes i wonder if that is on purpose to discredit such information. 

  I've been thinking about starting a Group exploration on this group, seeing if there is any validity to the subject, and if so, to see what their deeper intents, motivations, and plans are for this world and us.
