   Thank you for posting the seance links. I always believed that there were real seances in between the fake ones. This one really resonates with my current understanding about the other side.

How do we know that you are real and aren't demonic?   :-?

There are things called intuition and discernment.  These are tools which allow one to gauge what is genuine and what is deceptive.  People will have their opinions, and they may or may not be guided by truth.  Strengthen and clarify your connection with your inner self and you may be provided with an inner knowing which will remove your doubts.

I have not watched the videos below and am speaking in a broader sense, not defending the authenticity of the seances under question.

That is so true and you stated it so well.

I vividly recall the day I was promoted at work. My former peers became my staff members. I thought it was the best of both worlds in that I could talk to Upper Management and I understood the issues/problems facing our division. Much to my surprise, I instantly became the "enemy" to some of my former co-workers and, to some, they didn't care to help me become the "voice" for their concerns. Many, in fact, simply wanted someone to tell them what to do. They didn't want any personal control or responsibility over their job or work environment.

There are people like this all over. They don't want to think for themselves, help themselves or consider the possibility they are in control of their own lives. Yes, it's much simpler to just accept the status quo and never consider all the infinite possibilities available. However, it's also very confining, unoriginal and potentially deadly. To me, it seems like the biggest travesty to the human condition is to not completely relish in the joy of living and exploring all there is to explore. Sad commentary that so many would rather live vicariously through the lives of others (ie. the mess called "reality tv" and gossip magazines) than to begin to try to live the life of their own choosing.

    Generally true, but unfortunately not so easy to actually develop or attain in any consistent measure.  Us human Beings have an amazing ability to not do this and to believe in what we want to believe or what is not good for us spiritually.  Discernment and discrimination is primarily a function and effect of two things primarily 1. repeated Experience with being hoodwinked and 2. spiritual "maturity" or development.   The more one is intune with PUL Consciousness, the more accurately perceptive one generally becomes.

  If one or both of these are lacking, it can be mighty hard.  This is when appealing to more expanded sources than self becomes very important.   The two most effective ways of doing so, is via a very specific intent/prayer/affirmation and request of asking for guidance and help from only the most spiritually creative/constructive, aware, loving, and most spiritually developed consciousnesses there are. 

Then, to increase and make clear that connection, to bring up the remembrance and feelings of Love and/or gratitude. 

   I find that there are a lot of very popular sources in the New Age and metaphysical worlds that ring my intuitive bells with various red flags, and yet they are quite popular.   

  In some cases, i've gotten more specific and clear guidance UNDER the above ideal conditions about such sources warning me about them and their limiting nature either in general and/or for my particular path.

   So, if sources like Seth, and the like float one's boat, maybe time to walk the walk and not just talk the talk? How can one preach to others, what one doesn't live oneself?  If one does, then one becomes a Pharisee type and others not so will call your bluff. 

  It is interesting to me that i know of a self in my Disk, who was a pretty psychic and intune guy, and yet he went through some experiences wherein some wanted to fool and manipulate him (these were people less attuned to PUL than he was), and he got hoodwinked and quite badly burned because of it. 

  Funny this is what Guidance said of him, "For (this person) was one who trusted, who believed all, and the Gods laughed at his weakness." 

  For the longest time, that guidance utterance confused me because how could trust and seeing and wanting to believe the best of others be a weakness?   I started off as a rather naive and similar kind of person. 

But through experience of being lied to, hoodwinked, open to manipulation, etc i learned the importance and necessity of discernment and discriminating what is helpful and creative from that which is not.   

  I don't shove the shadow under the rug anymore, and i'm not as naive as even my uber psychic other self sometimes was.  I peer deep into all sources and people i come upon and try to gauge what they are about, and  Guidance and my path in this life has involved much about becoming aware of the shadow side of life and reality, but without fear. 

  Like that negative E.T. group i sometimes talk about which is so involved in this world in so many ways, and always, always trying to limit individuals and humans in general. 

  Or those very popular sources which are limiting in nature, and speaking up about them.

  Thank goodness i'm not too concerned with being "popular" or being thought of as "spiritual" eh. ;D  (but a 'spiritual person' would never criticize a source that another likes, a "spiritual person" doesn't judge blah, blah, blah).
