Title: Mind Powers Dream Wthin A Dream Within A Dream
Post by Ralph Buskey on Jan 12th, 2012 at 11:26pm
Greetings fellow dreamers.

Here is a partial recall from an amazing dream that I had last night. I remember more details about it but shortened it to just the important stuff.

I don’t remember where I was, but I was with people I knew in the dream but not in this waking life. I tried moving something on a table and after concentrating for several seconds it moved. After trying it on something else (can’t remember any details about it now), it moved as well. So I tried to levitate it and it floated up in the air. I moved it to the side several feet and sat it down gently on the floor. I remember showing this to a few amazed people and somewhere along the way I woke up.

Being disappointed that it was only a dream I immediately tried again. To my happy surprise I levitated something (still can’t remember details) and repeated my experiment. The people were still the same as in the inner dream and once again I amazed them with levitating objects. This time I tried to levitate myself and it worked. I went through this for about what seemed a half hour and then woke up again, Figuring to be awake and realizing it was a dream within a dream. I tried it again. This time I remember lifting a shoe off the floor and across the bedroom and sat it carefully down again. Now I’m feeling very happy to have the power once more. I looked out the window and saw some car wheels outside. I concentrated on a wheel and it flew off upward. I tried to hurl it sideways and it took off to the front of the house.

I went to the front encountering some people and asked if they saw where the wheel went. They saw it fly through the air and showed me where to find it. I showed them my ability to levitate and move things to their amazement. Then I levitated my self and flew around a little. My brother shows up later and goes to light a cigarette. I said let me see if I can light it for you. After a few seconds of concentrating, the end ignited and he started smoking. I told everyone I hope no one thinks I’m like Superman and shoots at me because I doubt that I’m bullet proof.

To shorten a much longer recall of details, I’ll get to the end. I wake up to this world and realize I had a dream within a dream within a dream. I immediately attempted to move a shoe in my bedroom. After a half minute I gave up because I realized that dreams rarely come true, especially magic ones.

Hi Ralph,

I had to read it a couple of times. I kept thinking about the movie "Inception" while reading it...I guess because of all the "layers" of dreams they were in.

With that said, it is my understanding that EVERYTHING within dreams represents a part of the dreamer. Every person, every building, every location inside the building (IE rooms, elevators, etc.), everything. When you look at the dream within that context, does something seem clearer? Are you possibly reaching a "new level" of awareness of your ability to manifest desires in your waking life? Are you trying to impress anyone right now? What is the goal in doing so? [All rhetorical].

Once you start thinking about the relationship to your waking life, the dream will become clearer. In fact, you can set the intention to continue that dream if you want to see what else you can learn from it.

BTW, I'm sure dreams do come true, even magic ones. Maybe the shoe set the intention not to move that day. (smile).

Kind regards,
mj

Greetings mj.

I believe you are correct in your analysis. Just yesterday, my wife got me a new game that I told her about which I wanted. It's called Mind Flex Duel:
http://mindflexgames.com/

I thought that this would be a great tool to develop telekinesis with. Maybe the dream was guiding me towards getting this. Ever since I was a teenager (back in the 1970's), I was fascinated with the ability to move objects with the mind.

I got a job at Kmart last November and they had me doing stock replenishment in their toy department. I saw this game in the board games section and was intrigued. Since this was before the dream I had, my subconscious was probably telling me to go and get it. I'm looking forward to mastering the game now but I will probably have to be patient.

Hi Ralph,

That's great you could make the connection between the dream and your desire to expand your understanding of telekinesis. I looked at the link, briefly, and it looks very interesting. I hope you have fun in your exploration!

Kind regards,
mj
