Title: Why would Evolution give us an Afterlife? Post by Calypso on Nov 28th, 2011 at 1:35pm
On this site "Mind Energy.Net" I found a fascinating discussion on the existence or non-existence of an afterlife, and how did consciousness "spring" into existence, or if it was always "there". I post the link to the conversation below, for any interested.

Other way round: Life gives us evolution; life is evolution.

Like Frank has always said: "Physical is the end result". And I very much agree.
Subjective realities are home to us, not the other way around. Death was invented as a way to objectively transport oneself into these realities: you can't have it that people disappear without a trace instead of a slow process of body disintegration. Although 15000 years ago the rules were not so strict and dematerialization was common. |

The key is to recognize that mind is not merely a brain function; rather, mind uses the brain on the analogy of a transformer of thought and emotion. If mind exists apart from the time-space continuum, then evolution inevitably progresses both in and outside the time-space continuum.
