Title: Shadows of the shadow
Post by J. Remar on Jul 25th, 2011 at 11:24am
Discussing afterlife is a natural curiosity. But discussion within our current sphere of understanding is a paradox. Whatever conclusion we may draw is entitled to be confined within what we are able to think... our thought that we derived in our lifetime, the very anti-thesis of death. Perhaps our inability to understand issues like death and infinity is a flaw in our thinking mechanism. The only option is to discover that flaw and start again. To know the truth, we have to unlearn...

Greetings J. Remar,

Respect and gratitude for all you are sharing here and through your website.

I'm not sure yet how it fits in with the originating ideas of this site, that we each  can visit the afterlife ourselves while living. The 'lace curtain' between these realities is getting thinner!

Perhaps you are right about the context. However, if we are genuinely looking for an answer to afterlife, we should be doing better than merely juxtaposing derived ideas... We should glance back at the core of the idea. Perhaps there is something wrong with the very way we are asking this question that is denying us an answer.
