I had a dream last night that was very interesting. I woke up in "the town" in my apartment. I fed my cat and wen to work at the bar downstairs. When I get there everyone is drinking the same drink and they are all talking about it. It is a clear drink with a red plastic pouch in the center of the drink, like a cold pack or something, so I clock in and ask what the drink is all about, and a man says I made history in that drink, I am strangely pulled by this man, like I know him already. I work for a while, but I can't help but be intrigued by his comment so I ask what do you mean. He says meet me after work out back.

I finish up and go outside and he pulls me to the side and tells me: the pouch in the middle holds a liquid very powerful, it can make you more intelligent or it can make you go mad. It depends on the person and how much you drink.

I don't know what to say so I ask what is it? HE says it is called the Nobel Gene, and it is going to change the world.

Fast forward I am having a drink somewhere and talking about not making enough money, when HE appears to my right and says I can get you a job at the little store. (the little store is like a convenience store)
Fast forward again, I am working at the store, He walks in from across the street to buy a soda and a pack of ciggys. We talk for a while and I mention that he came from across the street. He says very hushed, that's my factory, and my house. He invites me to go to a lake after work.

The lake has all sorts of boats and sailboats on it, but he leads me over to this hybrid land/water vehicle and we go for a boating. When we slow down he makes us two of those drinks with the Nobel Gene in them. He shows me how to drink it and how much of the pouch to put in the drink. As soon as I drink it I fell connected to him, like I can read him, gauge his responses. i look out from the side of the "boat" and I can see the edge of the lake as if it were right next to me.
Throughout the rest of the dream it is a little scattered, but this secret service like the feds show up and start chasing him, trying to get the Nobel Gene. I end up in his warehouse/ house place in hiding with him. I can literally feel his every move before he makes it and we communicate without speaking. I end up feeling like I am connected to him so strongly that I feel it through the dream...
They eventually find him and he has to run, we separate, the dream fades. We are on the "BOAT" and he is next to me and so are some of the other people I met along the way in the dream, and he says we are somewhere cold, that we got away, that the gene is safe.
I wake up.

Wow, I used to have dreams like this when I was younger, long and detailed and like a movie.  I hope you're keeping a journal of all these dreams you have.  You have quite an active dream life!

Thank you, I am trying to... it's hard to write with a little one :)  I don't mind though I seem to have a pretty good memory. I like to use this place to kind of "put them down on paper." It's also nice to have feedback from other active dreamers :).

That would make a good science fiction movie (unless it's not fiction at all...). The Name Nobel Gene, is it Nobel like the Nobel prize, or is it Noble like being a noble person? In either case it is very cool. Keep dreaming and writing. This didn't seem like a lucid dream, did it?

I suppose it would be the noble gene, by the way they kept saying it... and yes the dream felt lucid, like the dreams I have that come true, i.e. deja vu. I have been dreaming a lot of odd dreams since I became pregnant. After having the child my dreams are still very active, like they were when I was a child.:)
