Too me, $10,000 for a one week event is a bit much by more than $9,000.

I watched a Larry King episode when he covered the secret, he had one of the people behind the secret (I can't remember his name, but a different man than the man on this article), and a caller asked him why it costs $920 to attend one of his seminars.

With a big smile that didn't seem genuine to me he said "something of value is worth paying for." (I don't remember his exact words.)

I find it odd that people who supposedly know how to attract money to themselves find it necessary to get money by over charging other people for the knowledge they have to share. I find it odd that they try to connect what they sell to spirituality.

Dr. Usui passed on his knowledge to two other founders of the modern Reiki movement Mr. Hayashi and Mrs. Tanaka.
Wasn't it Mrs T. that was charging 10.000. for Reiki courses/attunement then, to selected/or who could afford it, if my memory serve me right.
Yes there're are always people over changing for these, it a real market place these days, everyone on the band wagon..:)
