I'm hoping some reader of this will say "oh, sure, that's happened to me too." 
It helps, you know  :)

Last week I was folding freshly laundered towels and was surprised that one felt really 'sparkly'!  It was just bursting with positive energy, felt so good to just hold it that I didn't want to put it down!

Mentally I checked off possible causes --however, the washer does not dump extra detergent on single items, the towel hadn't fallen into anything , nothing around it had the same quality, etc. 

Where'd it been, I tried to recall and then remembered that a fellow had come to help us with some yard work, the day had been hot and sultry so he'd borrowed this towel to wear around his neck out in the hot sun.
We didn't know him from previously. He was middle-aged, middle weight, middle everything. He didn't talk, left all contact to his supervisor.

Could such a seemingly unremarkable guy have such remarkable energy !?

Well, his love is neither in his age, nor in his weight. (It's wrapped around his neck!)
We don't know what he's here for. You'd have to look remarkable if you'd want to join the circus. If he's here to protect a child or just to help people out with their daily work, what does it matter what he looks like

btw, personally, I like jug ears, greek noses and freckles, I guess that would count as remarkable?

LOL, you did put a smile on my face dear Soul, interesting question !
Didn't know people needed to have a 2 or 3 letters after their last names to have such remarkable energies ...no punt intended or he was so involved in his work here or there that it impregnated the towel. (Was a man of few words right.)

Just an average person like a lots/most of us around, why not?
The major point here is that "YOU" pick it up, so it does say something about your perception.

I have noticed that freshly washed and dried towels can seem to carry a pleasant energetic sensation. Its nice when they are squeezed near ones face while inhaling. Other materials don't seem to have the same quality. I don't know why though. I suspect the energy is in the air held in the towelling.

On a related subject. My sister, while out of body and passing through her kitchen, noticed the most sparkly energetic object in her kitchen was a tea towel. It was sparkling because it was dirty and full of germs. She put it in the wash the next morning.

You had a hot and sultry day where you are? OMG.  ;) We had one of those the other day. Followed by thunderstorms, but no tornadoes this time.

more seriously..A few years ago I came across a site for a psychic out of Minnesota. On ehing she did/does, is put healing energy into small hand towels and then people request them and for s&h she mails them.

I looked for that on google, an excuse to play with Les Paul another day. Actually it was hankies not towels but same idea. he person's name is Echo Bodine and here is the page with info for getting hankies:

I'm neither recommending nor criticising, just saying here is this. It just seems to me to substantiate your idea that the guy could put energy into the towel. Well it also made me start thinking about "The GReen Mile" but I don't know why. Better stick with Echo.

PauliE, I can't find my copy -- could you remind us what a Heshe is?

How many people do you suppose are around in life who have such energies? And don't 'use' them by being (I hate to say it) a guru or recognized healer?

I don't know what I expected a 'high spiritual energy person' to be like. I probably should have said he seemed to be 'just an ordinary guy."

Heshe was the highest developed person on Earth at that time. :)

  The only common denominator, physically, between very intune people are remarkable eyes, and even then it's not necessarily an actual "physical" thing or effect, but more an essence that shines out from their eyes.  Yes, sometimes their eyes themselves are more striking in nature, but usually it's more a quality, a depth, an intensity, a "vibe" that particularly seems concentrated in and emanated by the eyes. 

  (sometimes form does follow thought/consciousness... but that is a very big, and relative subject... some of the intune people of the future will have some different physical characteristics than some people now as form does sometimes reflect or rather get molded by thought/consciousness).

  However, really intune people (completely merged with Source & Oneness Consciousness, full Co-Creator types), like Monroe's He/She, can "shield" their vibrational emanation to some extent so that even more sensitive types might not know they are "entertaining angels unaware". 

   Remember Monroe's initial encounter with "He/She" and how blasted Monroe was by the person's emanations, but as soon as He/She was aware of Monroe's nonphysical presence, He/She exerted some kind of control over their emanation, for whatever reason.  Maybe Monroe wasn't suppose to have his vibrational patterns lifted so much during that time, hence the reason for the control of emanation?

  I had a very interesting dream message a month or so ago dealing with the nature of eyes (and mine specifically), but i shouldn't go into it here.
