Title: Blue Hawaiian
Post by Vicky on Mar 31st, 2011 at 11:02am
This is silly but I felt like sharing.

I just woke up a few minutes ago and logged on here.  I saw that Patti had posted on my book thread that she's excited to start reading my book.  Seeing that made me remember that I had JUST dreamed about her.

Patti and I did a book exchange, and so I'm waiting for her book to arrive too.  In my dream though, the package arrived and I couldn't wait to open it.  But when I opened the package there were papayas instead of a book.  Each one was split, and when I peeled one of them apart, inside was a small bottle of lotion that I like called Blue Hawaiian.  I thought it was definitely an odd gift, but I really love the smell of this lotion, so I was happy for the gift.  I opened another papaya and it was the same fragrance but was a gel soap or shower gel.  It was a messy way to send a gift, but I was so happy for it.  I remember thinking, "I love that she wanted to send me this surprise, but I still can't wait to get her book!"

By the way, in physical reality this Blue Hawaiian is the closest fragrance I can find to one similar that I loved many years ago and can't find any more.  It was called Tropical Rainforest, or something like that.

Interesting synchronicity there Vicky. What do you think the dream means?

I wonder if the name of the lotion that you like in real life and received in the dream might have something to do with it?

Particularly the "blue" part?  Like maybe saying the info in the book, and/or your connection to Patti is very resonate with the blue vibration or frequency, which generally speaking is considered a more spiritual oriented vibration than not and also can symbolize meanings like calm, peace, nonphysical awareness, trust, sincerity, etc.

That you really like this fragrance in physical reality and received this as a gift from her seems to be a pretty supportive and positive message, in and of itself, of the connection between both of you.

Hi Justin,

I'm not sure what it could mean!  But I thought I'd post it here in case there later comes to be some connection from Patti about it.  It was definitely a very vivid dream.

OOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGG! Thats so cool Vicky.

FIrst of all, Justin: very intuitulve of you!. I talk ALOT about the Blue Ray and my connection to it in my book! Vicky would not know that yet.

Vicky, I also talk about an AMAZING experinece that my son and I had in the Rainforest!

Also interesting is the symbolic meaning behind papaya and the lotion inside. My dream intrep. book says that a papaya connocts a need to calm emotions or anxiety; and the lotion inside is symbolic of a smoothing aspect. So, maybe within the pages of my book you will find such a gift.

Not to mention, the synchronicites that have bonded Vicky  and I together recently anyway, I will not be surprised if our journeys (our books) are similiar and helpful to each other's journey, filling in pieces of the puzzle that each other are perhaps missing or needing.
Love you girl!
Patti

Well I'm just glad these types of experiences are symbolic and not literal...it was messy.   :)

I just know that the dream was about you...obviously...so there must be something that I'm picking up from you about your book.  Can't wait to see what more connections there are.

I didn't know that about the dream interpretation meaning of papaya calming emotions, but it fits perfectly with the self/spiritual work I've been dealing with the past few days.  I mean it literally fits with that.  I won't post specifics here, too personal, but the gist of it is that I wasn't taught, or had never learned, how to calm myself nor love myself as a child and growing up.  And that very topic is at the heart of what I'm working on in my life right now, specifically this past week.  It will definitely be in my next book--I had such a powerful spiritual experience the other day as a reflection of all this that I'm going through and growing from at this time in my life.

Like I said, I had no idea that papaya represented that meaning.  Very cool indeed!!

Thanks for being part of my journey Patti!

Love ya,
Vicky
