So...

I was reading Bruce's fifth book. I haven't had the time to do a lot of the activities...just been reading them.

So last night, I fell asleep with the book in my hand...

There was an middle aged white woman in my dreams and I could tell that this lady had passed.

I'm not sure if she didn't know that she passed away or that she knew but just refused to go anywhere.

The setting we were in was that of a classroom with a chalkboard.

The kicker was that, Bruce was there with me, training me in the background.

I talked and I talked and I talked but this lady did NOT want to go anywhere with me.

It became evident that she was at the end of some training course where she was learning to be a security guard/police officer/crossing guard and she wasn't going until she completed that.

Suddenly to the right, I saw a "Helper" black guy. He gave me a look that said, "I'll kill you if you say a word" and he changed into some sort of official uniform. Because he was over to the side, the woman didn't see him.

The look that I gave the Helper was one of shock but I quickly recovered after that deathly stare lol.

So he came in and told the woman that he was there to pick her up and she was like, "Finally!!!!" She gathered her things and left. I woke up.

You did it! All the aspects of a retrieval were in place and in process!

  You found the person and distracted her from whatever mindset she had that had kept her from passing on. You say you talked and talked but your tone must have been kind or encouraging  to get her to relax. That's what allowed the Helper to enter.  They are always a part of the retrieval process, regardless of how directly they may be apparent to the retriever (you).

Neat that Bruce is working with you!

I placed the intention of doing a retrieval and I closed my eyes. :D

Yes!!! Wonderful job! I had some of those *looks* in the beginning too (lol ::)). One of the most difficult hurdles people have to overcome when in the afterlife, especially with retrieving, is to trust and allow what's happening to simply happen...and you did just that.
