Title: She visted me in my dream last night
Post by Dream_Catcher on Jun 7th, 2010 at 2:54pm
Hi everyone. I am new to this site, but I'm old in my after life connections.  I have always had those connections with those who have passed on, and when I searched for the dreams and death connection, I found this site.

My dear friend Madeline passed away 10 months ago, and she finally came to visit me last night (took her long enough!) LOL  She died after suffering with liver damage and breast cancer, and it was hard to see her suffering.  :'(
We spent Friday evening with her family, we sat down and had pizza and laughs.  Her daughter, son and grandchildren were all there.  I got the feeling she was there, but I didn't "reach" out with my "tentacles" because sometimes I invite more than one person over, and then it drains me.

On Saturday, my son graduated from high school, and on Sunday we had the BBQ. Sunday night, she came to visit me and my husband. We sat at the "Usual" picnic table outside of her house.  I remember my husband trying to tell her all the gossip of our community politics, who was sleeping with who, who passed away, and who was hired and fired at the office (Madeline used to work there with us) and while he was trying to tell her the latest and greatest, she shushed him and waved her hand, as if to say that our visit was short, and these things were no longer important to her.  So we talked about spending time with her adult kids and grand children, and she seemed happy for the subject change.  She said she rides on the car with them, and she hears them wasting their time on petty things, and focusing on negative stuff, and she said she leans forward from the back seat and tells them "stop it! you two need to stop focusing on all the bad stuff and take a look around! Look at your kids sitting here! You should be paying attention to them instead!" but she said they can't hear her, of course, and even if they could, they wouldn't listen anyway.  She talked about ruffling her 3 year old grandson's hair, and that her daughter noticed it later, but she assumed he was scratching his head (Jr. has long hair) so she told me to tell her that it was her ruffling his hair, and she will remember that day.

She talked about a recent death of a friend of ours, he died of a brain anyurism last week.  He was only 36 years old. She laughed and said that when he arrived, usually the person goes directly to their relatives who are there to waiting to see them, but instead, he walked directly over to her and sat down next to her and said "Hey Mad!" she said she was glad to see him, and he even remember going to her funeral.  She said he knew he had died, and he wasn't upset about it. Nobody is ever upset about dying, but it's the missing of loved ones that is a bummer.

I told her that my son had graduated on Saturday, and she gave me one of her "looks" that said "DUH!"  LOL.  She said "I know.  I was there" and I just looked at her, and she looked at my husband and said "There was a lot of people there!" but somehow, I knew she wasn't referring to the people we could see.   ;)

I can't remember other specifics, other than her telling us who was coming next. (We have had 9 deaths in 1 week in our small community!) and so my husband made a face, slumped his shoulders and said "Great!" because he is the person who gives them their funeral donations to help off set some of the funeral costs.  I looked at my husband, but I didn't ask who it was going to be....I didn't feel like it was right to make Madeline repeat it.

She did share that she comes to the office and wanders around there, visiting others and watching us go through our daily lives.  She laughed at who got hired in her position after she passed on.  She said "What were u guys all thinking hiring HER???" but then she shared that if they would just move that round table closer to the front, it could be utilized better than where it was at now.  I found that an odd piece of information, since I don't work in that building anymore, so I have no idea where that table is currently at at.  When I awoke, and I was sharing this with my husband, who still works there, he smiled and said "I know what table she's talking about! It's that round table that used to be by her desk....Of course it would be better by the front!"

anyways, this was my experience.  I did share it with her daughter this morning, and she teared up when I mentioned her mom ruffling Jr's hair.  She said she did know that day, and she did experience goose bumps when she was unbuckling Jr from his car seat.   :)

Dream Catcher, what a lovely dream!  And how fortunate you are to have remembered it in such detail (and such useful details)!  Welcome to the site and thanks for sharing this.

We finally found out who passed away.  We live on an Indian Reservation, and one of the Chiefs died last night.  He has been a Chief for 50+ years, so tomorrow the entire tribe is closing shop to be in attendance for the funeral.

It all makes sense now. I remember Madeline sharing with us who was going to pass, and the look on my husband's face as his shoulders slumped and he said "Great!" because it is big news, changed the entire day for his funeral tomorrow.....
