Title: You're all Invited
Post by Beau on Dec 3rd, 2009 at 12:09pm
I finally saw the front of my pub and it's white and looks a lot like the new york public library. There is a stone lion out front and inside are songs posted on the walls that go back for centuries and all signed by the artist, not necessarily the performer popular today. It's a big place but kind of lonely right now as I'm doing some cleaning and getting ready for a big party. There is a huge arena stage in the back room for Rock N Roll of Ages and Plays and poetry, maybe even some art designs. I invite you to come by for a drink anytime. You can smoke in there by the way like who cares out there right?

It is my dream to house this place in Athens GA someday, but alas I must get busy to see it happen.

I still can't read the shingle on the door Heaven or Heathen...or maybe Heather....I just don't know, but we can show movies there too.

Y'all come if you have the time. Use my Avatar to focus in on me or the password is Jodie Foster since she's my favorite actress.

I hope to see some friend or should I say Free-ins, which is friendship without end in the near future.

We'll have a blast. Lots of Bands are scheduled I just wasn't ready to open yet...but now I am.

Yours, Always N Allways==

Beau

Thanks, Beau!

That sounds like a beautiful and fun place!
The building style I 'm reminded of from your description is the Beaux Artes Style -- Pun that  for hidden significance !

I'll be there in ribbons and bows,
Bets

Today I saw the bathrooms and they were spotless. More of a meeting place than an actual usage you understand. There are attendants who work there with towels and cologne and they are just beautiful and very large. We do Karaoke on Thursdays. You just never know who might show up for it. It's a lot of fun and it's kind of a dream come true even though it is in the dreamland land of F27, so far. I think I finally got the name of the establishment. It is called Zeus McManus' Pub and Rock N Roll bar.. But we have a big Band night on Mondays. y'all come by.
Drinks are on the house as always...and we have plenty of folks to get you "home".

While specializing in fine wines and dark beers, I have a special drink called Ambrosia that won't get you drunk at all, in fact it wards it off. I serve it to the bands, you know how they can get.

I went to my pub/arena theatre this morning and suddenly I was backstage where the technicians were setting up for a show. Apparently we are doing "As You Like It", by William Shakespeare in full Elizabethan regalia. I am playing Jacques (jay kwees) who has the most wonderful speech ever written in my opinion.

"All the world is a stage and all the men and wee men (As women didn't act in those days) merely players. They have their exits and their entrances and ONE MAN in his time plays many parts." What if that one man was someone like Adam or Jesus or whoever and really the show is all about them...they are the star and the rest of us are the players to make the glorious earthly scene interesting? Of course I believe anyone can act as I believe any one can be enlightened so maybe they all take turns being the ONE MAN in his time. Food for thought. Show runs 24/7 get by when you can...oh and it might be a good idea to brush up on your shakespeare a bit and read the play first. You won't regret it. Very beautiful indeed. Hope to see you there. Ask for the Ambrosia if you are an abstainer.

Peace out
Yours AnA,
Beau

Sounds cool man.

Just curious... during the times you describe when you are at your pub, how much of your consciousness is here in the physical and how much of it is in the nonphysical level of your pub?  Are you fully submerged in that reality with no sensation of your body or physical life?  Are you mostly there, with only a tiny bit of awareness in your body?  Or are you totally in your body, with your experience of the pub being a product of your imagination(in the traditionally sense)?

Rehearsals for AS YOU LIKE IT are going very well, I'm even ad libbing some Shakespeare on occasion. Remember "All the worlds a Stage" and head on over to the pub for a great show and super Ambrosia which I might even spike with a little Peach Schnapps or Prune Juice depending on how well you like the show. Just go to F27 and ask where Zeus's Tavern is. You'll get there.

Yours,

Beau

In answer to Dude's question I phase to get there until I can build it in Athens GA. ...someday, y'all. Until then this man (may-un, with my southern accent) will just wait it out in F27.
