Title: A Poll - for curiosity's sake

Do you have OBEs, "phase," or both?  If both, which do you have more of?

Thanks.

Hi Rebecca,

In the few years i've been here, polls on any of these subjects never get much response. I don't know why. Some folks have guessed that we're so cautious about talking about these topics that we don't want to so specifically state our involvement.  :-X

For your topic in particular, most OBErs and phasers that I've met here don't stay active with this site.  They'd rather be exploring and retrieving. Sometimes they come back and post retrievals, but that doesn't help your survey, since retrievals can be done either way.

I believe phasing or the imagination method puts less stress on a person's systems and so is or should be the preferred method. But subtle body separations (OBing in its usual context) is a way to start so that your conscious mind can accept the reality of such non-physical realities.

When I was younger, I had out of body projection experience, but very limited. Since I've learned more later on in life, I can now use soul travel (remote viewing) rather than astral travel.

Lately, I've discovered that the smell of incense helps me open up to higher states of awareness, making it easier to release.

I don't know what an OBE feels like, although I've heard it described so much. What I have done in the past feels like what people call phasing, imagination method. But I have recently become more interested in dreams, and how they relate to all of this. Plus, I've never felt compelled to do retrievals, not on a regular basis. But they do happen.

When I have a full blown OBE I have to Roll Out.
I get stuck at the crown if I do not roll out anymore.
There have been times where my 'feet' are up toward the ceiling and I can't get 'out'.  ;D
Very Annoying...

Then as of late I have felt the vibrations and just happened to BE somewhere else.
Very Odd!

I also have been having a hard time 'Getting Around' and being able to see clearly.
As if someone/something is blocking me....
Probably myself doing that somehow...  ::)

EDIT to B2:  If you ever had a Lucid Dream then you have had a form of an OBE.
I firmly believe a Dream IS a OBE except we are in 'Dream State'.

Interesting...it sounds like most people phase as opposed to full blown OBE.  Personally, I don't know if I can trust my own experience with phasing.  It feels like I'm making everything up, frankly, I probably am.  Since I can't tell what the heck I'm doing most of the time, I have tried to focus more on lucid dreaming.  LDing tends to work much easier for me (I have at least one a week) and I know, without a doubt, that I'm not making anything up.

I wish I could phase with confidence, but I just can't seem to "get it."

Thanks all!
