I am an EVP enthusiast and i regard ''good'' EVP messages as evidence for the afterlife. The most interesting messages i have captured to date was an entity with a strange distinctive voice saying ''kermit'' and on another occasion i heard another entity say the same name..Many many years ago after leaving school i begun an apprenticeship and for some reason everyone was given silly nicknames..my nick was ''kermit''..perhaps this was given by the entities for evidence?

Maybe it was the ghost of Kermit the Frog.

I use a digital voice recorder and an analogue recorder..Also i have a ghost box,radio shack hack modified version..I have posted a sample in the paranormal voices section.

I have been trying to get anything on my digital recorder for 7 years, and finally got 2 things. I was hoping it would be my daughter. One of them is really awkward... the other sounds like a female voice, however it's very very faint. I use Audicity to try and figure out what they are both saying, but just can't. Any suggestions?

   After reading this it brought back a memory of when I was young. Before cassette tapes, I had a tape recorder that was on open reel (small machine, not the music ones). Sometimes when I was winding the tape back on it, I would hear someone talking. At the time I figured it was probably picking up radio signals somehow. I wondered why there was no music though.

   Maybe it was another form of EVP that picked up on the magnetic tape at a higher speed. If it's true that higher states of being beyond the physical occur at higher vibratory rates, this would make logical sense.

I have looked closely at that possibility, but some of the voices do not sound like they belong to a broadcast.
