Title: Reincarnation?!
Post by Still_Living on Jun 22nd, 2009 at 11:22am
4 pics on top - Last Tsar of Russia Nicolas II (1868-1918)
3 at the bottom - president of Russian Federation D. Medvedev

To me they look like twins  :o
Not only look alike, they even have similar personalities... :-?

Reincarnation or coincidence?

That's neat, SL !

If it were the same soul back to try again, he would not be identical to Nicholas, according to reincarnation theories.  He would have had opportunities to review his Nicholas-life and learn from it. Hopefully he would learn in the right direction--(IMO) he could use more compassion for his people, less pomp and ceremony, more decisiveness, etc. than "The Last Czar" had.  :)
What do you hear of Medvedev?

Hi Betson,

Thanks for the reply  :)

It's hard to judge, actually, impossible...

From Wiki:

"n 1981, Nicholas and his immediate family were recognized as martyred saints by the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.....
The Russian Orthodox Church inside Russia rejected the family's classification as martyrs because they were not killed because of their religious faith. Religious leaders in both churches also had objections to canonizing the Tsar's family because they perceived him as a weak emperor whose incompetence led to the revolution, the suffering of his people and made him at least partially responsible for his own murder and those of his wife and children. For these opponents, the fact that the Tsar was, in private life, a kind man and a good husband and father did not override his poor governance of Russia....."

Medvedev reminds me Nicolas II in his weakness  :-?

Oh, well, I don't want to slip into political discussions here on this forum though... ;)

Regards,
SL
