If a person is in a 'life or death' situation, what is love?

Wow....

(How much time do you have with this person?)

Love is importantly Itself, an energy that is calming, peaceful, supportive (Pure, Unconditional.)

Are you asking "what would Love do?"
Have you done the preparation where you think of being a defenceless baby held by a loving protective parent? Or being the loving parent holding the baby?  That imagining sets up the mode of love, the vibration/energy of being a transmitter of love.

So first if I were with such a person i would go into the Loving mode and be there with them quietly to see if the support of that love would help them ask for what they might want.

Absolutely. That's the ultimate. It all comes down to, who are you going to trust? Whatever the action, whatever the result, who are you going to trust? That seems to be the essential question, the first question, and the last question...every time. At the core of the self, it is always coming or going, like a pulsating wave, and love is the great silent awareness around our experiences which can always be trusted. It seems to be a waiting place, the place that is always waiting.

So, my thoughts...slow down. I say, everybody...slow down, just a little. Our acceleration doesn't have to move along quite this fast!

Let's not speed in this car quite so fast!

What a ride we are on!

So, it's actually a little funny, isn't it? To be on such a wild ride? Well, maybe not, not so much, all the time.

Perhaps Eckhart Tolle tells such a story...I don't know. It all just seems kind of silly to me.

It's the awareness that is the key...how to bring that into focus 24/7. The loving awareness.

So, yes, no matter what, get 'thyself' into the 'aware' place 'henceforth' and 'all will be well in the kingdom' ---

I find that in a 'life or death' situation there is no actual 'time' as we normally experience it. It is certainly in slow motion. It is relived, replayed by the mind many times. So, perhaps, that is, oftentimes, a moment in which we can learn the most about ourselves and others.

But not always! Sometimes it's just plain silly.
