Hi I went round a friends house today to practice singing with him and two more of my friends,my friend's mother is german but one of my other friends is Jewish,and we were all there together singing,then his mothers sister came round and she is german and her husband is german as well,anyway she introduced herself to us and when she spoke to my Jewish friend ,he told her that he was jewish and then she asked him to forgive her for what Hitler did.

My Jewish friend said he remembers his mother saying to him through his growing up that the only good german is a dead german, but he showed her no resentment at all,so she shook hands with him and said that she did attend the same school as hitler but luckily not at the same time,she had no time for him,she did not agree at all with what Hitler done,my jewish friend was talking to her and she was truly a lovely lady.

I have to say this that what Hitler did was terrible but not all german people agreed with it.
