Title: Bill's Blog Post by LaffingRain on Dec 13th, 2008 at 12:36pm
quote: if you believe strongly that the past determines the present then you will have a difficult time not repeating the past. There are 2 types of expectations. 1) I expect my want to manifest itself and 2) I expect it to manifest at a certain time and in a certain way. The first is a function of trust - that is, my goal will be met. The second places conditions on how the process of acquiring the want should look. This second expectation will kill the first if the process of acquiring the want does not meet expectations. So yes, expect the want to be fulfilled and then let go of expectations of how the process of getting the want should unfold. The expectations of an unfolding process are generated by our associations.

you're entirely welcome, my pleasure I assure you! I think I found in Bill's blog someone's blogging which I almost appreciate more than my own blogging. Bill is from the Sethian/Elias school of how to create your reality, and I've found the tenets are perfectly in line with TMI's exploratory states of consciousness and techniques, it's all just in it's own language. hope 2009 finds you quite chipper Beau |
