My father was seen in an other town by my brothers wife and past out.she stopped her can and saw my father walking across the street,and swears it was him.My father died 12 years ago.when she got home,she was shaking and had to go to bed.George

George, I don't know how to tell if she really saw your father (or his ghost!) or if it is a case of mistaken identity.

So what scared her so much? Is your father scary? Was there something symbolic in where or when she saw him, some meaning that upset her? is it the possibililty that her world-view was lacking some important information?

I admit that things that rock my world view have a strong emotional impact on me. I'm just not sure what your point is.

How has she used this event? Has it changed anything in her life?

I wonder if your father is trying to get in touch with her, and communicate something George?
ask her if she sees him again.

To some people seeing a dear departe one could/is a shock it's understandable..Hope she'll ask questions the next time; maybe there're unfinish business to be dealth with.
