Thank you for a very interesting read, Alan. Occasionally, it crosses my mind that it is a possibility that I may be speaking my last words to someone...and if so, then how do I feel about that, I ask myself.

It absolutely changes my perspective to do this.

I agree absolutely, there is a saying that you must not be so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good.

Thus my interests are also, philosophy, science, physics, astronomy, engineering, cosmology, reading, writing, painting, poetry, music, humor, sports especially boxing and weight lifting, travel.  I am insatiably curious about every topic under the sun and will remain like this.

My life as I sense yours is also is very full with other thing than death.
Or maybe "Gee I wish I didn't spend so much of my time researching death, now I don't have any time left to experience life

To be too obsessed by anything can be very unhealthy indeed, but of course there are exceptions even beautiful magnificent obsessions, like that of Mother Teresa

"To die is no fun and should be avoided at all costs"
