Title: website about perceptions and beliefs

a piece of it:
Look at the layers of belief like a tree. The influencing belief in the moment can be likened to a leaf. We work our way backward to the twig upon which it grows and then to the branch. The branch leads to the core belief, which can be likened to the trunk of the tree, and then the trunk will lead us to the root. We operate within a forest of such metaphoric trees, for we live in a belief driven reality. It is part of our blueprint.

Very interesting LaffingRain.  I think the real challenge is we tend to define ourselves by how others around define us (our perceived reflection in the mirror).  It's a real challenge for each of us to find out who we really are independent of the "mirror" (our environment, each other) we look into.  Interesting link.  Thanks. :)

yes I was talking to a friend how when 2 physical people are in a room, there are really 4 physical people in the room.

took me awhile to understand that I think physical is real. when physical is also energy construct with form.

so there's self images to look at. for we hold an image of how we think the other is, while they are holding yet a different self image of themselves, to be their truth.
then of course we hold our own self images to be the true one, and they theirs..you end up with four people all talking at once.

and this mirroring thing as you spoke of it, we do mirror these self images back and forth.

because we do this, human nature it is, I've developed a listening technique..that is to brush aside my first impression, not to get rid of those impressions, but store them somewhere, while I listen more closely to what they say, what they do.
actions speak louder than words, so observer function must enter, but listening with an open mind will allow the mind to see them as they see themselves, not as you want them to be, but as they really are.

have to go read the rest of that article...thanks for responding.  :)

And just like a hall of mirrors which reflect one behind the other, the one behind the other--- there is no end. It ---as we do--- go on for eternity.--cat

yes, the mirror idea is related to a holographic mind universe dear Cat.
the funny thing about obes and building correct self image to reflect to others, is that as this happens, we find confirmation others have "seen" you in the astral, on some other level of mind than physical, but no less real than physical.
what they have seen, is also filtered through their belief system as well. life becomes a funny house of the circus mirrors idea.

everything we think and feel is becoming magnified these days and we are all in process of awakening to the way we are mini creators of our own shared world. :)
