Title: It Happened Again
Post by tgecks on Jun 23rd, 2008 at 12:45pm
Friends-

This has been the full moon weekend over the longest day of the year, and such celestial events truly affect (believe it or not) the volume and the tone in the Emergency Room where I work. It is a major trauma center near Atlanta, and things are always busy. Saturday night was chaos.

When I walked down the hall I noticed the group of folks working a cardiac arrest, and I stopped for a moment to look into the room through the big sliding glass doors that front the rooms. As suaual all the folks had specific jobs and were intensely centered on their task. I asked the nurse how he was doing, and she murmured his blood pH was 6.75, which is incompatible with life, and I knew it was a fruitless effort. When I looked back in the room I saw a man standing in the corner, behind the group of folks in colored scrubs. He was in blue jeans and a white tee shirt and was holding a straw hat in his hands, watching the events wide-eyed. I turned to ask the nurse who he was, but when I looked back he was not there.

The drama continued another few minutes, and then it was over. The Code was "called" and that was that. All the equipment and the people left the room, and the curtain was drawn to wait for the priest to administer last rites. After a while even the family left.

I was curious, when I got home and had the time, to see what had happened to Pedro. It is only here in C-1 that time is linear, so it was rather easy to recreate the scene in my head. Especially when there are emotions attached, the brain does not know the difference between the actual event and one's memory of it.

I walked down the etheric re-creation of the A-Hall, and to the room where Pedro had been. There he was still, standing in the corner, hat in hand, in the now empty room. He looked at me when I entered, and I spoke Spanish to him (which I speak in real life, too). I had scrubs and my white coat on when I looked down. Though I had feet, there did not appear to be a floor to stand on. I ALMOST went off into my Narrator left brain, but managed to pull my "eyes" away from the space below.

I asked him how he was doing, and he replied that the pain he had was gone, but that he did not know what had happened. I found myself explaining that he had come to the Emergency Room with a heart attack and that his physical body had died. I asked him if he remembered anything, and he said he recalled having the pain, and then seeing a lot of people in his room, but he thought he had been visiting someone else. He asked if his mother had survived.

Just behind me a Guide spoke, "Oh, yes, my son, I have." A glowing figure stepped past me, and his face rose and lightened, and he took her hand. All three of us left the room and wlaked down the A-Hall into the mists which grew lighter and lighter until we stood before the portico of the Healing Center.

It seem to me that the way to the Healing Center, to The Park, to such areas are much easier to navigate. It is almost as if the two lane gravel road has been widened and paved, with lights and exit signs along the way. At Monroe they talk about anchoring that energy here in C-1, and the pathway of light that it leaves to follow, and it does get easier with practice.

That was wonderful and exciting.  I like that you got to see him in the room.

thanks Thomas,  yes, anchoring the light is TMI project, and many other groups are joined in. u just reminded me of that. I once saw Monroe nonphysically. He's a very loving soul. the light is love.

that was a really good description you gave for us. you are really in the right spot for your career.
our mutual friend BM also works in hospitals and does retrievals right there in C1 as he sees them also.

Thomas you're doing great work in that hospital, - on both levels!

Thomas:

What method of travel do you use? OBE with all the effects, traveling around within your awareness while maintaining awareness of your body, traveling around within your awareness without being aware of the physical World-sort of like in a waking dream, or another method?

I used to go OBE with all the effects, but no longer do so. Now my awareness/focus of attention simply travels elsewhere, sometimes with the sensation of movement, sometimes without.  Occasionally I'll go OBE when I become aware during a dream.

Same question for Gordon:

What method do you use?

Recoverer and Gordon-

I used to need an absolutely dark room with headphones and CDs with Hemi-Synch and would do a full preparatory process and count up and all. Now I find I can take a breath, one breath, and as I exhale I separate part of me and attend to what ever task presents itself. I remember starting to think about the cyclone in Myanmar while I was having lunch at Quizno's, and by the time I got out to the car to drive home I felt like I was in the jungles of Southeast Asia working already. It used to bother me( rather like Bruce's story in his books) if I did not have my undivided and full atention on  the task, but find I am participating in such work much of my waking life, as well as in my sleeping hours.

Now I can stand aside in a bright and busy room filled with people and take a breath and be out there, watching from a different perspective. I am both out there and in my body, too. Like bilocation, I guess.

All I have to suggest is practice, practice, practice. There is much to be done if we are willing and able.

I get what you're saying. Intially when I did retrievels I would see the face of a person who seemed to need help either while I was meditating or laying in bed awake. I'd get the feeling I should do a retrievel,  imagine a conversation for a short while, and before I knew it I'd be involved in like a waking dream where I was interacting with this person and all kinds of unexpected things would happen.

Things have reached a point where I don't need to be conscious of everything that goes on while helping with retrievels.  Mainly energy is run through me for much of the day that helps spirits cross over because first they see a physical energetic signature that comes from me and then they see my connection to the light.  Other spirit helpers help out with the process in various ways.

I figure that some of us will be quite surprised when the day comes where we find out about the various ways we unknowingly helped out.  In Cosmic Journeys Rosalind Mcknight's guide Ahso speaks about this.

I've also found that it is possible to be aware of physical and spirit realms at the same time.

Thomas/Recoverer:

i feel like I'm projecting a consciousness fragment, that in more traditional terms would be called "the mental body" as opposed to "the astral body"; the mental has many advantages over the astral, as i suspect you know, but it has the drawback for newbies in that the effects are so subtle as to be almost not there.  The excitements of fear and desire which the astral body so readily reverberates to are literally "not there".

I love the enclosure of using headphones and hemi-sync and darkness, but can do the work without them if necessary.
Admittedly, the subtleties of the experience are even further diminished when operating in public, with noise, light and every kind of distraction, but the accumulated evidence from Bruce on down to the rest of us seems to indicate, that the work is still accomplished.

Sorry to be always plugging, but i do go into this in depth in More Adventures In Eternity.  Maybe i'll post the introduction here.

And yes, I strongly suspect that at some "future" point, either here or after "passing", we shall be amazed to find out just how much we have been doing above and beyond our conscious apprehension.

I might be wrong, but it seems to me that when we use our astral body we experience all of the effects, when we use our mental body we experience more like Bruce Moen experienced during his explorations. I used to experience all of the effects, but now it seems to be more of a mental body thing. Sometimes my perceptions are more clearer than other times.  Occasionally it is as if I know what I see rather than see it clearly. This leads me to believe that there is knowledge I have on some level that I'm not fully conscious of. Occasionally my guidance will sort of laugh at me when I act ignorant/innocent about what I know.  In some ways it must be fun to see how us embodied beings act from their side.  They probably get a kick out of us at times.

yes, I agree Recoverer, I myself have gotten quite a kick over observing you in the other planes, u sure use a lot of body language out there.  :)  I'm more of a talker when I go out.

of course I have no way of knowing if any awareness of your self interacting with me has come to you. would like to discuss it with you sometime if ever we could stop discussing theology.

for now, just be aware, you are quite a character.

I agree, we are just not totally aware of all the details of what we do at night.
I do have one little tidbit of info. concerning how different time is out there.
I once went consciously obe before falling asleep, I noted the time when I got back, it was morning already. it had taken me about 7 hours linear time/wise, to complete one retrieval and discuss my future plans with some guides after the retrieval, and to view some future property I would buy.
it seemed to all go by so fast, I had thought I had only been out an hour at the most.

Question:

Quote:
...but he thought he had been visiting someone else. He asked if his mother had survived.
Just behind me a Guide spoke, "Oh, yes, my son, I have." A glowing figure stepped past me, and his face rose and lightened, and he took her hand.

OK was his mother "there" or "here"? was the guide ...impersonating... a living person or someone who had passed over previously?

That he asked if his mother had survived hints that he thought he was still in C1 and that his mom was in C1 (and she was the sick one).

But the guide seems to take on her persona...?

The question was asked previously here as to what people had experienced about whether a guide might take on the characteristics of a still-living person in order to help someone cross? or if perhaps another aspect of a living person mught be there to help. This question came out of a retrieval in which the mom seemed to be "there" but in "real life" the mom is still "here".

Random thoughts:

Quote:
Especially when there are emotions attached, the brain does not know the difference between the actual event and one's memory of it.

Maybe there is no difference, but in order to function in C1, we create one (a difference) but it can be overridden by the aftereffects of trauma (or drugs or probably some other things).

I had an internet acquaintance a few years ago on a different board who worked as a practical nurse in a nursing home. The board was not about the afterlife. She would occasionally talk about some of the things that happened there with residents who inevitably passed over. I thought it sounded creepy until a few years ago, an older gentleman, the father of an acquaintance of mine, was warehoused in a rehab hospital to die. Because we had shared some fun times around a drum circle or talking about the local wildlife, I went to visit him a couple of times. The first time, I had to wait to see him while some protocol was carried out. Sitting in the hallway, which was cozier than the hospital's...I FELT beings there. And they weren't sad. It seemed to me like they were waiting for people to cross, and happily so. It was something I hadn't expected. Underneath the surface, it didn't feel glum,it felt loving. I suddenly understood why someone might choose to work in a nursing home.

Maybe the ER can feel like that too sometimes...once you get past the tv image of drama.

Greetings,

Regarding spirits taking on the appearance of a loved one in order to better communicate --
Carl Sagan in Contact has his main character come to that conclusion after her reunion with 'her father.'  Also I seem to recall that Bruce etc also say it happens.

''Impersonation'' carries some negative connotations from our earthly realm where it is done as a trick sometimes. On Earth it's often done for humor or deceit, for the gain of the impersonator and not for the good of those directly involved.
Spirit Helpers are above having their own agendas and are working for the spiritual development of those involved.

Also, Spirit Helpers are often from the Disc (extended) Family where individual differences are blended and merged, so they are not so much an other person as would be a stranger on earth.
Please do not think badly of them for the work they do is for our good.

Lucy, your experience with the waiting spirits was phenomenal!  Many thanks for sharing it!

Bets

Yes to all your points here Recoverer.
If I am training/advising someone on all this, I usually try to shift them from the astral to the mental body, as you seem to have done yourself.

"It is as if I know what I see rather than see it clearly"....Yes, very much my experience.
And yes there is knowledge on some level that we're not fully conscious of.  The "i" that is doing the exploring is some kind of lower level "i" that is the knower.
And yes, guidance does get their chuckles out of us.  no doubt about it.  I've been teased more often than I care to remember.

I agree. There is The Observer and there is The Interpretor. My Interpretor part wants to make up a story to link it all together, to provide the narration. My Observer simply watches.

I remember Skip Atwater saying over and over at the Remote Viewing training to "Use the raw data only" meaning to ignore the Intertporetor trying to make up a connecting thread and to put it all in context, usually a contest from my past. It is like a search is done to see if there is matching data (any match will work) from the past.

There is apart of me that is detached and busy, and when I go out of body I join with it. At times, though, there is no question that it joins with me, like that night in the ER. Sometimes I feel compelled to go down the hall in to a small quiet room for a minute of breathing and grounding, and it is during those times I feel most connested to it all.

And, like the movie What The Bleep, I ask, have you ever seen yourself from the perspective of The Ultimate Observer? It is a wonderful experience, I think.

Love and LIght,
Thomas

Well Thomas, the ultimate observer...is that a higher grade of the observer?  The Monad/Higher Self?  If it is then yes, I have had some inklings as to how "it" sees "me".
:- Like a beloved child, one of many, out on an afternoon' s adventure; one who will most likely get lost in the various forests and mountains but who will eventually come home with many tales to tell.

Am I close?

have to tell a little tale abuot The Observer, the Seeker and the Finder, since you guys are talking about the observer.

I was in New Orleans hotel on a holiday and awoke with a message. It said 3 parts to you; the Seeker, the finder, and the Observer.

Until that time of life I hadn't much experience with having an observer, not until I did a retrieval involving the observer being active.

I kept the message in mind, wishing to develop it further as time went on, as it seemed like a formula to me. When I did this particular retrieval I noticed I was also observing the other two parts as in a learning situation. the first part of the retrieval took place on a stage with an audience; players who helped direct, and who ran cameras. as the retrieval went on we left the staging area and it became more like virtual reality and the sense of an observer was no longer there.
In other words, it was no longer acting, but had become myself living out a role, which was all that I knew.

I think this is what happens to us when we enter a lifetime to live. we are coming onto the physical stage and our memory is wiped out of previous experiences, so we can get into this life and really focus on it.  Some retrievals take courage. so that was the purpose of this one, personally. I found some courage and got a huge boost from a successful retrieval.

The observer also seems to weigh and balance issues, it's very unemotional, and very higher mental. It does seem to need cultivation and/or invitation.

It's almost like a 6th sense, enabling you to read between the lines of a post or literature.

Oh, yes, Lucy. I was not until the moment my guide/my helper stepped by me really aware that I had one with me. In Lifelines we "went to 27 and met a guide who guides you back to the soul you are working with." IT is not always a retreival, as you know.

I think the guide must have been his mother, as he recognized her instantly and hesitated not one moment in moving to her to join hands and embrace heart to heart. I was merely a channel for the energy, as I think I often am, a sort of grounding rod for the earthly end of the pipeline of light.

Thanks. Do you think guides ever take on the appearance of people still living focused in C1, or if you saw a person still in C1 "there" would that mean they were there?

Not that it ultimately matters, its just that it getting to that ultimate it sometimes helps to have a clear way to think of things!

Well, I asked Bruce this exact question this weekend at his workshop. We were only nine people and with such a small group we were fortunate to have unlimited access and a very friendly man as well.

One of the girls had done a retrieval and her Guide that had showed up was Deborah Harry from Blondie (a singing group from the 1980's still around). She was certain it was she, and we did comment that she was actually still among the living, and on C-1. It was the concensus after some discussion that this was indeed an aspect of Deborah Harry who had come as a result of the request for a Guide for a specific retrieval, and it made no never mind that she is still alive on C-1. Bruce also agreed that it was certainly she, and not "just a clone" though we were not sure if there would be any difference.

I also noticed that I do not get my guide before I find my retrieval target, and further, I just assume they will show up when and if they are needed in the process. Sometimes I take the retreivee to The Park myself, and my Guide just witnesses it.

I had a very complicated and multi-dimensional retrieval as part of the workshop, and I will post it eventually, but it is still in process.

Hey, y'all, take that workshop! It was great, and I am an experienced retriever who has attended many Monroe programs, including Lifeline. Bruce is a great mentor, and one hell of a nice man. Pharon is equally nice (that's Mrs. Moen). He is planning Partnered Exploration and Retrieval of Aspects of Self workshops as separate from this basic one, and more books are on the way. The group energy was great.

I am beginning to experience ALL OF IT as aspects of myself. It seems like the separation between us (when Eve ate that apple) is beginning to dissolve, at least to me. And there are fewer to be found on Focus 23, and fewer in the belief system territories as well. Everything seems to be moving up at least as far as Focus 27, The Park. Just my observations......

hey you just gave me confirmation of something I needed Thomas.
and more books are on the way.

I was on a healing thread for Bruce awhile ago just before he left Puerto Rico due to some serious mishaps in the hospital there...
while doing this healing PE, I was told another book approaches the time line event planners...and I was always wondered if that were true.
so I surely am looking forward to more books from Bruce.

Continuing, I watched WHAT DREAM MAY COME with a friend the othernight, and it was a treat I had not expected on this point. I had seen it before, and it is certainly a wonderful depiction of these exact themes (now almost 20 years old, too).

The reason I bring it up was that Leona was the character of the Asian Air Hostess, and there was some wuestion as to who she actually was. She said her Daddy had come home form a trip to Singapore on a plane and had said he found Asian women so graceful and beautiful, and she said, "That's what I want to be..." And so it was. It was actually his daughter in the afterlife who he was seeing as Leona the Asian Flight Attnedant........ It does not ruin the story to say it was acutally his daughter, and apparently her appearance was the result of her desire to appear beautiful and graceful to her father.

Likewise, I think, as it is all a reflection  of the One of Us anyhow, that any loving being would suffice, and the "eyes" of the person needing the help would see it as they see it. That is, as a flight attendant or a daughter, or a friend or relative. It would show up however it needs to show up to accomplish the task, in my opinion. But who knows?

Even Bruce confessed this weekend that occasionally his left brain howls with laughter and declares it all HORSESHIT. Me, too, but not so much any more. But from time to time it seems pretty amusing. And then I go back to work in the certainty that THIS is the dream here in C-1, and THAT is real, over there. Very Course in Miracles: nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the pease of God.

And I am off to TMI the last wek in July for Starlines. Can't wait!

Hi..it's funny we are talking about identity to establish within explorations.

some thoughts: I keep a dream journal on my computer. many years.
sometimes I cannot identify correctly the face I see. sometimes I cannot ascertain the symbols to match up with what I already know.

but the message for my learning, to ponder on, I do not always have to ascertain the identity that quickly to understand the message.
in several incidences, I have not met the face yet in reality that I am dreaming of.
in another instance, to back up what you are saying Thomas, is that for instance, my mother before she died was seeing my nanny's older face image, when Nanny would send her a message.
yet when I saw Nanny, she was young again. I asked nanny why this? she said because mother remembered Nanny as old; and if she had projected her younger face, mother would have been confused.

this does not answer Lucy's question well, but I think Spirit has to fit the container of the recipient, and as well, the particular belief system we could say.

as well, some of my dreams depict the future events for me. just the other day I was thinking about a dream I had several years before my daughter purchased her new house.

In the dream I noticed there was a mother in law addition. I was excited that I would be living in it. (briefly)
In it, as I walked inside, (still dream reality) I discovered a problem with a leaking faucet, as well an outdoor leak on the hose line.
I guess I was concerned about plumbing problems and whether they would get a good buy.
I also saw a man was still living in my future habitat, but I could not identify what I depicted as a tenant, who would be asked to leave.

so what manifested in reality to show how tricky is interpretations on dreams, is this: It came to pass the kids did purchase a house with a mother in law in the back. it was actually formerly a garage, and in the dream it was stationed as a separate unit from the storage room, in reality it was all one building.
the thing that made me realize I was actually seeing their future home at least a year in advance of it's purchase, was when I moved in we had leaks in those areas I had seen, as well, in the time it took for me to move in with the kids, my kid's boyfriend had set up his office in the  MIL apt and we had to "kick him out." lol. he went so willingly, but it was very quick feeling I got, of events moving.

previously, I had failed to identify the tenant as Kenny. but I remembered distinctly my feeling of not wanting to dislodge a tenant.

love, alysia
