Title: A message to the powers that be.
Post by Terethian on May 25th, 2008 at 11:19am
I want to know the truth,
But you never really say.

I tire of these silly little games you always play.

I struggle to survive,
I struggle to live life,
All the while wondering if it's all just useless strife.

Why give me this intelligence?
Why make me so smart?
If in the end I rot away and everything depart?

If I should die before I wake is that the end of me?
Transformed to complete nothingness,
Never thinking or to be?

I guess there really is no point,
To this question I find so dire.
Maybe I should just end it now,
I should plunge into the fire.

Hey, Welcome back, Terethian !

We (Well I've been  :) ) worried about you leaving so suddenly!

When you quote or wrote that poem, do you mean Powers That Be--the really High sources of knowledge, or powers that be more locally?
Will you take opinions on the answer or are you shooting for Ultimate Truth?
It seemed when you left that you were beginning to make contact through your dreams with a Higher Self, sort of an intermediate range Power that Is.

We've missed your wit, Sir!

Terethian

I hope you do not believe that poem, to me it seems you have not shrugged off the Jehovah Witnesses doctrine.

You survive death, don’t hope or just have to believe that this is true "I know it true" I died and came back and know I have a soul completely separate from the body at death.

Sort of ghost in the machine

What and how would we question, if we knew everything there was to know?

Terethian, are you the answer to God's question?
