Title: Those rascally thought forms Post by betson on May 10th, 2008 at 8:43pm
Greetings,
What is the most effective way to get rid of negative thought forms that we might carry that were given by others? Recently I discovered that some thought forms left with or in me have been altering my perceptions. I don't recall how I found out, but once I was aware of them, I was able to think 'well, they're not real, so they should just dissolve'. ( :) Thanks, Alysia!) So I set my intent to have them dissolve and they did. Immediately I could sense a difference in several different areas of my body. Yesterday I asked Guidance if I was now clear of thoughtforms. To my surprise it said no. So I told it to do an 'inventory' of all those remaining and to remove the negative ones for good. Some sort of energy changes began that took quite a while. :o But now I'm wonderring if my request or intent was effective enough. (I thought the first time was thorough but it wasn't.) I can't remember reading about what's the best way to completely remove negative thought forms. Any advice will be appreciated! Betson |

Stay heart-centered. It is the mind that worries, that complains, that causes us to fret over unecessary trifles.
Then again, I like truffles. love, b |

8-)Bets,
My way to banish negative thoughts that is to fill my mind with things beautiful, concentrate on all the good things I have in life and not the bad, look at movies (comedy) fill my mind with fun things. I go and snuggle warmly in a place that no one can follow namely into the attic of my mind, there I can use my imagination to become and go anywhere in existence. There I am indeed a Co-creator of my own reality. love Alan |

What's up lately, something about the weather? I had a couple of thought forms, entities, whatever, come wandering in last night as I was dropping off to sleep, thinking about something entirely different (and even pleasant).
I shooed them off and they left, but still, odd that they should show up right before I read this post. They were highly unimaginative, too...came on like all the stereotypical pictures of demons, Satan, that sort of thing. I've seen better Halloween masks! Dumb things. |

I think it was reading the "betty book" which helped me out a bit of this, with the concept that "thoughts are things". You could imagine your negative thoughts as cities (hopefully not thriving metropoli) that need to be demolished and built over with something beautiful, or something that you actually want. Therefore, one of the best ways to banish things is to be excited or intent upon learning something new...something which can take the place of your abandoned worries.
Abstract concepts and analogies aside, I find that consciously striving to spend more time in places which I find enchanting/beautiful are the things that keep me in a state of wonder in which bad thoughts really have no place. I find this can be difficult depending where you live. I imagine that personally, I would be a much happier person living in some beautiful european town which still retained architecture from long long ago...but I still manage to find little blissful pockets in somewhat dull Canadian cities and most importantly, in my own home. A soulful living space is worth it's weight in gold. |

HI Bets. One view is that it's not good to suppress negative thoughts. Rather that it's better when they surface to if we can manage it stand back and let them develop. Then go into them.
Sometimes they will be feelings, in which case they often centre in a part of the body as tension or pain. Others may be wholly intellectual. The intellectual stuff is often capable of deconstruction using logic, and doesn't stand up when we allow it to truly emerge into the open. Resting with e.g. a fear induced knot in the gut will sometimes lead to non intellectual insight that helps - e.g. the realisation that it's only an intense feeling, and that the fear we connect it with is only a habit dating from long ago. That the feeling is not actually unpleasant, and that our fear is only a conditioned response and essentially mistaken. Not sure if you're likely to get to them all, as that'd probably amount to instant realisation. The tough part is that some causes of negative thoughts and emotions were imprinted very early in our existence (e.g. fear of being left alone, without food or whatever) and require getting down to quite deep levels of consciousness if we are to access them. It seems often to be necessary almost to relive the experience again, to create some emotion - just thinking about it isn't always enough. This can take a lot of meditative expertise, or use of others means like TMI tapes to get down deep enough. The experience for me has been that many issues have slowly surfaced as I kept on meditating over the years. There's still lots to come. When something does surface it's important to welcome it, to send it love so that you can re-integrate what may have become a god or a demon as described in the piece I posted on Chod practice some time ago. Some with really painful stuff need a lot of help, time and support to get to a place where they can actually face their fears.... |

Generally speaking, i'm not a fan of "seeing it not there." I feel it's more effective to see something else, far more positive and constructive, in it's place.
Also i agree that it's not good to repress something, but to fully recognize it, try to find out where it comes from, then to "heal" that. Even to give gratitude to it, and this kinds of reminds me of Bruce's dialougging method where you start talking to some aspect of yourself that is blocking the more total you, feel gratitude towards it, but firmly say and intend that this part isn't needed anymore and let it go. |

Hi everyone I am surrounded by negatitivity every day ,every year and i honestly dont know how much more i can take,i stood up today in a meeting at the mental health centre and i said to them ,"If you put me back out into a work invioroment ,i will commit suicide as i have never been able to keep a job because of constant putdown and being constantly laughed at and i dont like the world outside of the centre and also convinced from the age of 12 yrs old that i'm not good enough to walk on the same ground as others and never wanted for who i am,never good enough for anyone,i'm not mad, just not well in my mind".
So they just said i will maybe feel different in a years time, this is what constant negatitivity has done to my mind and i have often tryed to bring in the positive which is automatic negativity given straight back so how is my mind suppossed to sort that out,the centre is my only lifeline and without there support i would probabaly give up altogether, why does the human race cause so much pain ,there are so many at my centre suffering from mental health because of the human race out there in the hard world.so how do you change that sort of negativity,my lifeline is the mental health centre. Love and God bless love juditha |

hi sweetie, hang in. we are here for you also. I hope you can do some reading of Bruce's books, maybe that will help to give you a lift. And those people at the mental health clinic, they are there for you, so at least you have them. People in that field really do work hard for you. This is a hard life for you Juditha because you are so sensitive..seeing things about others and mostly seeing the negative now, you simply don't know where to put all the information overload. I think you are too down on yourself. You gotta start taking care of YOU! if that means finding a quiet place once a day and nurturing yourself to find the positive course for yourself, then better get on it as quickly as possible, as you're no help to life if you get sick or commit suicide, and I think you will be a very good medium someday as you already began to do that. love to you, I can feel myself crying for you because I love you. make me stop crying! |

durn, you're so talented Juditha! I must say I like those dragons, reminds me of some friends I have, lol. the colors are great too. you see I need good news from you so I can be of good cheer once in awhile.
I'm very close to you for some reason...probably I see you at night with the rest of us. So now maybe you know the world needs you and what you give. and, it may not be fantasy we're looking at! shoot, it took me all night to draw a stick figure once. :-X those colors look so realistic and dreamy too. great eye for detail. was wanting to give a bit of advice about all the negativity you may be seeing about you..whenever you are assailed with this negativity (probably constant) just say to yourself, oh oh, this person is not getting enough love in their life, apparently, god has assigned me this one to give them some love, then if their barrel is extra dry and an hour goes by and they're still complaining, just say, wow, I'm going to pray for you tonite, but I have to go now! bye! let me know if my prayer works! I mean, Juditha, don't let anyone suck your energy from you for hours. You have better things to do than that. Get yourself strong. you're too soft, sometimes you have to say no when you need to take care of yourself and not let it get you down the negative things. People will be drawn to you so you have to know how to handle them firmly but lovingly. especially so with mediums. they're the ones take all the flack since time began. love, alysia |

I've found that it really helps to look at the thought patterns that trouble me closely, so I'll find that there is no reason for enabling them to do so. Our lack of clear understanding gives us problems.

I also like your artwork. Don't take people who laugh at you seriously. They need to look at some of their rascally thought forms closely. Albert |
Title: Re: Those rascally thought forms Post by vajra on May 13th, 2008 at 7:30pm
:) I think the light in your graphic is rather lovely Juditha.
Another major issue in dealing with people that mess us around is I think working on our compassion for ourselves as I think we talked of before. If we KNOW we're inherently OK, then it really doesn't matter what anybody says, it can't reach us. It means too that we can quite easily say OK, I got it wrong, or they are wrong or whatever and move on untouched. Stuff only truly gets to us if we take say criticism that comes out of what is usually a perfectly ordinary situation, and make it in our own mind a credible statement about our fundamental worth. Viewed in the light of day, or when the demons have passed it seems ludicrous, but not in the dark night - how can we be diminished because some person lashes out because of their own problems, or because they want to inflict pain on us?... |

Bets just gave me an idea..
why don't we start a new age cult, we'll call it New Age Rascals of Light and we'll have Juditha do our flyers. Juditha, seriously you got some friends here. I remember when I was your age I didn't have any friends really. So what I would do is pep talk myself. I'd say "this too shall pass." and sure enough it would pass sooner or later. whatever is troubling you, it will pass and it's usually not as serious as we thought at first. love, alysia |

Hi aylsia ,vajra, albert(recoverer) Thanks so much for your loving supporting comments,I'm so pleased you like my picture but i did not ceate the background with the lights, someone else did ,though i don't know who it was as i got that background picture off google and i also got a picture with a dragon on it off google and what i did was took the dragon off that picture and put it on to the background picture and then created two more dragons and then i posisioned the dragons on the background picture and made them transparent in front of the two moons,i am now learning how to create lights and i am almost up to getting my degree for graphic design,i love you all and i wish i had created the lights on the picture as they are lovely but i will soon be doing that. Thanks for praying for me aylsia.
Love and God bless love juditha |

Juditha,
Beautiful picture, remember my remote viewing attempt some time ago where I said I saw you looking at a moon over a large lake You said that you dreamed that the same night. Was this picture an insperation from that deam?. Again you are talented and I think your painting is a vision of a beaufiful world somewhere out in the vastness of our universe. alan |

Juditha,
I have copied your lovely picture onto my computer and I will print it out and put it up on my wall somewhere. As a life long sci-fi enthusiast as well as an amateur astronomer with my own 10-inch Newtonian telescope, I am sure you were seeing this beautiful vision from the viewpoint of another real wonderful planet, a little unlike earth, but also beautiful n its own unworldly mystical way, somewhere out in the unimaginable vastness of our universe. These great nearby moons of blazing colors must be breathtakingly glorious to see. I cannot wait to go freely and explore or universe of which we know so little about Love alan |
