Hello all,
Could anyone here please tell me about the spiritual implications of miscarriages?.
I lost my baby about a month ago. I can't understand how going through something like this could be of any benefit to my soul or that of my baby, if it had indeed entered his/her body already.
Are miscarriages a biological thing, completely seperated from our spiritual side? or Do you think that everything happens for a reason and losing your unborn child could be part of the plan?  
Will my baby continue developing on the other side? or Is it just children who actually get to be born and later die that continue to grow in the afterlife?.

Every opinion/reply is very much appreciated.

Your news makes me very sad for you. When I saw your name in the post column I was so pleased that you were visiting here again and hoped so much that the title of your thread referred to someone else's misforturne, not yours.

Most cultures that have kept in touch with their spiritual connections believe that the soul doesn't enter until quite late in the pregnancy.
Most or all say that the experience was requested by the souls involved to learn----       s      something. ?  While we are in the physical, it's hard to remember how spiritual entities think of life here on Earth.

How is your health, Dearheart? I hope you are taking care to be easy on yourself while you heal body and spirit.

Hi sunrise Your baby is being loved and looked after in the spiritworld and is growing up there and would also have a name as well,the reason i'm saying this is because i miscarried my second baby and two mediums have told me i have a daughter in the spiritworld and she has been named Tereasa and she said through the medium that she loves me and often hangs around me and that she is looking forward to the day when i go to spirit that we can be together.

My mom miscarried her forth child and me and Deanna were told that we have a brother over the spiritworld and they have named him Kenneth and he came to the medium with our dad who has passed to spirit and he was saying through the medium that he was reunited now with his dad being our dad as well,so you will be reunited with your child oneday in spirit.

My wife and I miscarried three times. In every case, I've had a chance to meet with the children in spirit well before they melded with their physical bodies (which occurs much later on in the pregnancy)
Sometimes a miscarriage is planned, sometimes it's just happenstance of the physical. Interestingly, the spirit that finally did make it to be our son was unsure of his arrival given our track record. I had to assure him that his physical body was doing well inside Mommy.
I view a miscarriage as a missed opportunity for parents to be with a particular spirit. There is hope that a future pregnancy can bring back the same spirit.
In my belief system, every child spirit is simply an admixture of energies from a soul that incarnates many, many times. Often, our soul and their soul know each quite well and may even be part of the same soul group (that is, known each other, practically forever).
Knowing this, still doesn't make it any easier...

Your beautiful unborn child came from God and returned to God, maybe to be born again later in your womb, or in that of another.

But this precious little soul will always have a close connection with your own own soul, and you will meet again somewhere and somewhen.

I have been assured that the souls of our lost children continue, even under conditions such as yours. I am sorry for your loss and I hope you are receiving every support that you need. I have also been assured that the children are named and raised by others related to you in the afterlife, so you will meet your child later, if this child does not receive the choice to return to you here. I have actually had an experience of retrieving a child once, so I believe they are there, in the afterlife realm.
