Title: Shot seven times in the chest Post by Nanner on May 2nd, 2008 at 7:24pm
This one is still taking me for a loop. :o
2 days ago I dreamt of being shot. It was by means of small "round" bullets of puter, or cast iron like, something which comes from the 18th century or so. I felt 4 of the bullets plunge into my stomache, it burnt like pure fire as it happened, I clasp my belly with my right hand, then I am hit by another 3 bullets in the upper part of my chest, mainly targeted at my right side. In the dream I am looking to my left for some reason and I see a bright light in my dream, still holding my right hand on my stomache I feel a warm liquid dripping around my fingers and seem to know without looking that its my blood. Heres the awkward part, which I can not rationalize ~ at all ~. I woke at 10 till 6 am holding my belly, I glance over at the alarm clock and then to the window across the room, I see sunlight coming on thru on the side of the blinds, realise that I am awake and then I look down at my belly, nothing on my nighty, when I moved my right hand out from under my night shirt away from my belly I feel the glitsche blood and see it on my hands, I rubbed my fingers together and startled myself. So I look back up towards the window and assure myself that I am in my bedroom, whereby I see the window, clock and room again. I confirm and look down again and then I am "back in the dream with being shot".. I seemed to have come back and forth for at least 10-15 min. before I finially had enough. To me it was as if I had been caught between "here and there". Within a matter of a fragment of a second I could bee bop back into the dream and feel and see the blood on my hands and above all, feel the burning of each of the holes in my body made by those round bullets and then jump back out to reassure myself that I was in my bedroom, not hurt at all. After that I looked at my hand again and nothing was there at all, I then realised that I couldnt go back into the dream and sat there in amazement. The only left over from the dream is that I still have a sharp pain on my right side which comes and goes ever since the dream. Hugs, Nanner |

Oh, Nanner, that dream sounds really amazing, except, that, could you, like now, go get yourself to a doctor? Right away? Just check it out. Hmmmmmn. Just makes me wonder.

Hi Blink,
yeah the dream was unlike many others that I have. I enjoy dreaming, I mean I really enjoy dreaming. When I wake up out of dreams I get pretty darn mad at myself..lol.. for I want to stay there most of the time. But this one was definately "different", for I felt like half here/half there. It was very wierd to me and had never happened like that before. When I was "fully" on this side of where ever, I realised that the liquid which I had felt on my finger tips was perspiration. But while I was dreaming it was blood, either way I felt the liquid on my stomache and fingertips. I felt the difference Blink. Try it out yourself one day. Take mildly warm water between your fingers and rub it and then next chance you get go to a slaughter house (knock the slaughter dude over the head for killing gods little friends first) but then just dip your fingers in a bit of the blood there and rub your fingers together. It "feels" thicker, it feels alive ...Heck I dont really know how to explain it correctly but blood feels different. I am not too cool with physcians okay - but I have to go for a check up sometime next week. I`ll see if he can check my stomache for little round bullets. ;) I am not expecting that I brought back a suvenier though. (At least I hope not) ;) Can anyone tell me what it means to dream about being shot 7 times and why I bee bopped back and forth like that? Hugs, Nanner |

Hi Nanner,
Glad you're back! :D People ask about you! "Where's Nanner :-[ ?? ! This is not to let you avoid seeing a doctor, OK?, but another way of seeing this could be that you just started up the 'engine' of the 2nd or 3rd chakra --or more. There are seven main ones and you were shot seven times, that's why the I made the connection. Also when consciousness moves on its own it can move as a silver pellet or point, which could be taken as a bullet. Bringing consciousness to a chakra level is what activates it. But you don't have to shoot a chakra to get it going. that's why a doctor's looksee would be good. Basic need is a theme of the 3rd chakra. If you gave someone something they needed or gave up needing something you didn't truly need, those changes could start up an otherwise ready-to-go third chakra. :) The texture in this case would be your own imagination trying to find a reason for the sensation. |

I had something similar once. I dreamt I was lying on a bed in a hotel room, until I thought about where the heck I was, and how I've gotten there, and stated to myself it must be a dream, and so I tried to wake up, which worked. Or, I thought so. I was lying on my bed in my appartment room, relieved. I closed my eyes and bang! I was back in the dream! I sort of freaked out as the structure, the order of reality seemed to be broken down. I swapped these places three or for times until I saw with one eye the dream hotel room, with the other my appartment room. Then I focused on my appartment room and the dream scene faded. But now I still wasn't in the physical, but had an OBE. After some experimenting, I forced myself to wake up, which was difficult as my body was absolutely sound asleep. Everything was as I had seen it in my OBE.

Yes, I know what you are talking about. I was just remembering a dream from childhood yesterday before you posted this. I was recalling a slippery feeling that I felt when grabbed by someone in my dream. I was literally "slipping out from between his fingers" as he tried to grab the back of my neck as I was running away. This slippery feeling is specifically and easily recalled, like a very important detail. I experienced it specifically as if my pursuer's hands had a substance on it which made it slippery in a particular way. It was not ambiguous. It was very real. So, yes, I know how vivid it was for you, and how completely you can distinguish differences even in a dream. Very strange, indeed, but good for you for exploring back and forth for a while to have a full experience. It seems to me that might be useful sometime. It also sounds vivid in the way that a past life might feel, if you were experiencing one. I would expect such a "flashback" to have that kind of reality for you. Or even a premonition of something to come, in some form or fashion. Or "just" a dream, but you were having greater awareness of your states of consciousness as you drifted back and forth. That's what I would assume. The interpretations could be many. |

Hi Bets, love :) When anyone at anytime asks where the Nanner is, please always let them know that shes "right there within you, giving you a hug from within, just think of her and she will feel it and be there!" :) My disappearing acts have nothing to do with the board, but rather with the universe using me for a quick "other" project for the moment. I never know where, I never know whom, I never know when it happens, but I do know that I am inclined to react instantly, no questions asked... and have come to the experience that I see a good result when I am called into duty. Interesting enough though: The more people here whom thought of me, the stronger my inner feeling had become to quickly come back and say "hellooooo". Smootch on the forehead! ;) Please explain the "Chakra" thingy to me in structured manner, my love, so that I may take notes for dummys like myself. :-? Hugs and glad to be back, Lets Rock n Roll with some info :P Nanner |

Hey Spooky - nice to hear from you again.
Are you suggesting that, that what happened to me was an OBE? Have I really been de-virginized now. Ergo: THATS AN OBE? Geez, if so: dunno, if I wanna do that again. By the time the OBE is finished with me man, I`ll look like the bowl I drain my spagetti in, or Spongebob! Too many friggin holes for me! ;-) On a serious note: Was this an OBE, I sounds mighty close to what happened to you! Hugs, Nanner |

Blink - thank you honey for your insight and perspective. I know I really should give that dream some deeper thought. We will get it squared and nailed down here, I am sure of it.

Hi Nanner,
Is SpongeBob holy? Are puns the highest truths? ;D ;D ;D You are so wholly right on, ;) Nanner, that it is a surprise sometimes to hear you have questions. Your answers are always so loving and high-spirited! Chakras are names for some energy centers which I'm sure you've heard of separately -- the third eye, heart, the solar plexus . Some ancient religions and modern researchers claim there are seven major ones, plus some others. They've been pictured as twirly disks and are usually anatomically near alot of nerve endings. Starting up a twirly disk sometimes has a shocking feel but eventually they'll stay on or singly go off and on without much notice. When fears are eased and love abounds, more disks rotate and make loving energy. When all are going at the same time, you can fly in your subtle bodies. I hope you have time to study them via the internet (Charles Tart is a reputable researcher). Then you can fly around (like an angel, dearheart; it doesn't make you a 'witch'!) and visit everyone here! PUL, Bets |

I'm responding without seeing what other people have to say in order that I'm not influenced. Perhaps we'll come up with the same thing. Please see comments below within brackets. Nanner wrote on May 2nd, 2008 at 7:24pm:

Hi Nanner,
was it or wasn't it an OBE? Of course it's always a matter of how restrictive one is with labels. This thing of going back and forth between the dream and being in your bedroom AND the noticing an element taken from your dream into (seemingly) the physical is very similar to my experience, and I think yours was an OBE, you only became not aware of it when it happened. If I hadn't checked it during my OBE, I probably had called it "switching between two very vivid dreams" or so. The common thing of OBEs is the immediate impression of "this is real". From many reports about it we know that the places you are during an OBE can vary greatly, from imposing just like the physical up to the strangest environments, but always with the certainty "I am here, and this is real"; as well, the seemingly physical environment can be strangely altered at some points. So, I guess if you had moved and experimented a bit more when you found yourself in your bedroom, pushing with your hand on the mattress or so, you would have had the odd experience of feeling your hand moving through it.
