Title: suicide-what happens to schizophrenics
Post by Werner on Apr 30th, 2008 at 11:18am
I would like to know what happens to the souls of people who are mentally ill ( who suffer from scizophrenia) that commit suicide?

Will they be allowed into the higher dimensions or will they have to reincarnate immediately and experience the same circumstances again?

Werner:

Such a soul will receive whatever help it needs after it dies. It will reincarnate only when it wants to do so.  There is a lot of flexibility in the spirit World and many ways to do things. Consider Bruce Moen's story of Sylvia. She was an abusive person while alive. Because she had Christian beliefs she called out to Jesus for help after she died. She received the help she needed. She was exposed to doses of pure unconditional love (PUL). This enabled her to look at herself honestly. She went through an energetic cleansing process. Bruce found that it didn't take her long to become a light being. Perhaps she will incarnate again. If she does, I don't imagine she will do so because she is forced to do so.  There will be much more freedom involved.

Going by what I figured out through spirit guidance and other means, spirits don't have to reincarnate as often as people sometimes believe. Each of us is connected to a Disk/soul group which contains other spirits we are very close to.  Perhaps it is more accurate to say that we are one. Such spirits share their lessons with each other completely.  This makes it so numerous incarnations aren't required by any one spirit. Plus, there are other ways to learn in the World of spirit. Some say that there are many beings who never incarnate physically.

Also consider Ranelle Wallace's near death experience. During her experience she met the spirit of a man she used to know who could've had a near death experience just as she had. It was decided that he wouldn't return to his life in the World because it was headed in the wrong direction. He sold drugs and harmed other people. He remained in the spirit World so he could work on himself in a manner that wouldn't continue his movement in a negative direction.

Or in other words, there are no hard fixed rules.  Spirits are helped according to need.

Recoverer,

I do not know how to express my gratitude for your words.
Have you been in the outer world? Have you interact with some entities?

tomoenagel:

I've had a limited number of experiences in the spirit World. I do communicate with spirit guidance on a regular basis. This guidance mainly provides me with guidance that helps me with my spiritual growth. It doesn't provide a lot of cosmological information.  It figures I'll grow more if I figure things out myself. Usually what happen is I try to figure things out myself, and then my guidance will provide confirmations or clarifications.

I must add that for whatever reasons, different people need different kinds of information. Sometimes it is more of a matter of what a person needs to grow, than a matter of what is one hundred percent true. Despite what I just wrote, I do feel confident that there is a lot of flexibility when it come to determining the needs of a spirit who returns to the spirit World.   So don't make the mistake of believing that either you or a loved one will be forced to reincarnate right away, if at all.

I strongly believe that most mental illnesses, such as scizophrenia, are simply a situation in which the human is able to percieve multiple dimensions (at least partially) simultaneously.  There is a bleed through from another dimension of reality into this one.

Some may say that there is evidence to support this being a strictly physical problem, for example in the brain and chemicals and such, but you must realize that the physical is created from the mental, from our thoughts and beliefs, we are constantly shaping and changing our physical bodies, and so with such an unusal psychic experience is bound to come some physical change as well.

There will be noone to allow or unallow a human who committed suicide into a higher dimension, except of course themselves.  We all exist in multiple dimensions simultaneously, whether we are consciously aware of this or not, and therefore at some level this question is already answered.  Looking at is from a time standpoint, there may of course be a delay in developement in the initial stages after death depending on the severity of the trauma (if any) experienced.  There is always free will, and therefore the individual will only reincarnate if they feel the need to do so.

Regardless of what happens after committing suicide or what the circumstances are for doing so, numerous sources state that spirits always regret doing so.  NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE PUNISHED, but because they prevented themselves from completing the growth experience they were going through.

Hi Werner

"I happen to know exactly what happens to a mentally ill patient first hand". I have suffered almost life long with Manic/Depression, (bi-polar disorder) and went the suicide route, resulting in an  profound near death experience.

There is absolutely no punishment for this and I was welcomed into the light by the “Being of Light” and experienced blissful unimaginable peace while on the other side.

Man!! You are so spot on mentally ill people are the most mystical/psychic and much much more closely connected to other dimensions and other realities than normal mentally healthy people. But they pay a heavy price for this even losing their lives, like I so nearly did.

Read the biblical prophets such as Johns Book of Revelations. If he wrote that today and claimed it was from God he would be locked up in a mental institution and forced fed anti-psychotic drugs.

Primitive peoples tend to revere and cherish the so-called insane members of the tribe and use them as channels to the Divine.

I feel quite sane, sane enough to question my sanity, yet if I told some people about my experiences, they would think I'm nuts. Some people have thought so even when I told them about information I received through spiritual messages, that I was able to verify later. The main thing that enables me to see how insanity has nothing to do with it, is how the amount of love and light I can experience keeps increasing. Plus, the dots connect together real well.

Makes perfect sense and a very very verifiable explaination. Thanks, Nanner

Hi Werner,

When I was growing up my mom started her own search for answers about life, death, the afterlife. She opened up a world for me of fascinating ideas, other religions and beliefs, the paranormal and the firm stance that it was totally acceptable to question and explore. She was intelligent, gutsy, funny, modest, strong, a wonderful mother and she was eventually diagnosed with schizophrenia. When I was 27 she committed suicide, because she just simply did not want to continue this life any longer with that brain disorder, with the symptoms, stigma. I couldn't blame her one bit. And over twenty years later, in the beginning when I started exploring beyond the physical to get my own experience of an afterlife, there she was...smiling, radiant, centered, and ready to show me yet again something new.

Much love,

Ginny

There is a lot of merit to the above way of looking at things, but it's not quite that simple and reductionist.

Our individual thoughts and beliefs create our reality in the physical within the matrix of collective thought and beliefs, and in accordance to the law of energy resonation or like attracts and begets like.

Lot's of times, when Edgar Cayce's sources diagnosed someone with a physical ailment, the person was told they need to change their attitudes, their beliefs, their ways of dealing with things, to meditate and pray more, etc.   Sometimes group prayers were recommended.

But, sometimes, purely physical causes were given as a big influencer.  Sometimes these were not considered "karma", meaning they were not prechosen and preset up for a deeper purpose nor major probabilities, but happened as a result of living in the physical which contains a certain amount of "chaos" or randomness potential as well, though there is a lot of underlying order.   It still happened according to cause and effect, but from a purely physical standpoint.

While physical and nonphysical are essentially one, there are innate differences between them.

An example, a man fell, knocked some of his vertebrae out of alignment, which caused some major nerve impingements.   He started to suddenly go insane one day (soon after the fall), and an otherwise very gentle family man started to get very violent with his family.   He was sent to an mental institution.   A friend of the family suggested a reading, and they requested one from Cayce, his source cited a previous fall which was the cause, gave detailed instructions of which parts of the spine to treat, the man was given treatment, and soon became his normal self again and later thanked Cayce in person.

I don't believe Reiki, various energy healing stuff, or the man trying to change his beliefs, would have helped as much as just simply adjusting a purely physical issue, which had a physical cause.

I'm not saying the former couldn't have been used successfully, but it would take a person who is an unusually clear channel for the Creative Forces, to help facilitate alignment in the man's total energy system like that.   Or if the man had not one iota of doubt that he could be healed..but that would be pretty hard considering the irrational state he was already in besides the fact that even rational people have a hard time replacing all doubt.

But yeah, it's more complex, interweaving, and relative than the above quote.  Some of the principles are quite simple, but how they can over lap and interact with each other, can make for subtleties and complexities.

That may be so, and i do believe it to some extent myself but i also agree with a lot of what Monroe said at various times (especially in his first biography).

With a good percentage of Souls, they tend to reincarnate a lot because of addiction to the physical in some way or manner.

Obviously as one matures spiritually, you become less and less attached to the physical and so unless you are needed here for others, you don't need to and maybe won't want to reincarnate as much.
