Title: How Do We Evolve Towards Love?
Post by Lights of Love on Apr 23rd, 2008 at 12:25pm
This thread is a spin off of Albert’s Love and going OBE thread and that’s where this post is coming from. I thought about re-writing it for this thread, but don't have time at the moment.

Hmmm… I could just as easily say that the joy of this state of absolute oneness is love in all its purity, but really neither oneness nor love/joy/bliss is accurate because how can we know and understand oneness/love/joy/bliss unless we also know and understand the opposite of this, which requires duality. Both oneness and duality together seems the only way to give meaning to the other.

I don’t recall ever trying to deeply analyze the experience of light and silence. I’ve simply thought of this as the inner essence within each of us that flows into and through us. Life itself. Actually now that I’m trying to analyze it the joy/bliss/love doesn’t seem like it is on the same frequency as the light and silence. If there is more than the light and silence, I’m not aware of it at that frequency. In fact I’m not even aware of me… only the light and silence. The experience is ineffable, but it is like I am the light and the silence.

If kundalini is the modality of this experience, the energy needs to move beyond the crown and connect with the godhead. There are other ways to connect without raising kundalini. The location of the connection point is about 3 feet above the head or what I think some people label as the eighth chakra. Connecting is not easy, not for me anyway. But when I’m able to connect the only way to describe the experience is through my Christian teachings and say that the connection is with the Holy Spirit, which descends down through me and creates the experience of heaven on earth. There’s also an incredible power, but not the kind of power we humans usually think of. That also is ineffable.

It seems that we are making the unconscious conscious by giving meaning to our experiences. It also seems that all of our experiences and the meaning and understanding of them differ greatly based on one’s own experience. Take “love” for example and all the ways people understand what love is. Their interpretation or understanding can only be based on their individual experience.

If my experience is light and silence flowing into the experience of love/joy/bliss I might understand the meaning of the purest love imaginable to me and label this God. My point is that we all understand and even label things differently and we integrate our experiences into our understanding. The more I am able to recognize the purity of love, the divine essence within me, the more I am able to recognize the purity of love, the divine essence within all others and see that we are all of the same essence. What then do I say love is?  How do I get to the place where I can love in a totally unlimited way?

How does humanity evolve towards love? I’d love to hear from everyone and thanks in advance.

Love, Kathy

Hi,

Love is our destiny because Love is all we were and all we will be.  We remember from the heavens' Divine Light that no other energy compares. We pledge to bring and share love throughout our incarnation. It all seems so easy !

Then what happens? We experience some of love's blockages or twisted forms, and suddenly we are overcome by fear of having lost our connection to full Love.

To re-evolve toward love we have to get rid of fears of its loss, remember its purity, and then accept our role as not just sharers but as givers of love. To activate our evolution back, we may give aspects of love in many forms.

Giving love that is desirous or charitable, for examples, may not be perfect love, but they awaken in us greater capacity for loving. Every chakra is awakened by its own capability to love. We have to choose to experience love inorder to evolve back to perfect love.

But Lights of Love is speaking of a calm still Love, and I've only spoken of activating chakras and emotional capabilities. At its core love is so full that it
is still and calm and brilliantly intense. Getting there requires moving through a flickering light, more like the edge of a candle's flame. I think we're talking about
the same Love.

Somewhere (Hi LR  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] ) there's a saying, "Choose once again." In order to evolve towards love we need only to choose to love and be Loved in return.

Bets

I figure one way to look at it is that we aren't alone in this Universe. We are all parts of one big Self. It might not seem like it at times when we are here in the World, but we're all working towards the same divine goal.  Our forgetting about this at times while in the World is a part of the plan, even though it seems as if we have forgotten way too much.

It is time for this World to stop forgetting too much. If each of us tries to grow in love not only for ourselves but for the rest of the World and the rest of our Self, we'll cause things to change.

I've received messages which stated that if a minimal number of people get to the point where they live according to love completely, they'll radiate love to others to a significant degree, the people they influence with radiated love will be stimulated to radiate more love than usual, these people will do the same, and so on and so on. The World's vibrational rate will increase accordingly. Negative vibrations and though patterns will decrease. A bigger percentage of the population will become open to spirit help.

Consider what we are allowing to happen in this World. So many negative life experiences are being created. It must be difficult for the spirit World to have to choose the souls who have to experience the negative incarnations that have to be experienced. For instance, what if a spirit needs to incarnate into a lifetime where as a child the spirit will be sold into child prostitution? This sort of thing happens a lot. Even if light beings have a bigger perspective, it still must be rather difficult to send a spirit into such an incarnation.

When I think in terms of letting go and growing, I also think in terms of how I'll help others if I allow myself to grow. When I start feeling sorry for myself, I think of how easy I have it compared to my brave brother/sister souls who took on more difficult incarnations, to serve the one great self we are all a part of.

Thank you for your questions, Kathy, and for the opportunity for each of us to speak to them.

To love is to nurture and to care for the “other,” whether that “other” is myself or any being which shares my existence.

Because my consciousness is fluid it is naturally moving and shifting into differing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual forms.

To love is to appreciate distinctions of form without clinging to them.

There is a part of me which is my divine center. From and within that place, I experience eternal love unconditionally and joyfully. This is my purest point of personal power.

Humanity evolves toward love by supporting each of its members physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, and also by increasing in its appreciation of the great abundance that exists in each moment.

Hi Kathy,

some of what you said sounds familiar to me.

From my experience, which is, as I feel, in this regard more limited than yours, it is like this:

Joy and bliss have a component of urge, they want to be expressed, they are connected to time.
Light and silence is like you have all the eternity; with a sort of easy slight smile (maybe the Buddha smile).
Love (PUL) or what I think it is, is like a bridge between the two. It has this even more expanding, "general" quality which gives space to the "joy and bliss", and is leading the way to the "light and silence" (Which I have experienced only in very brief moments).

As well, from my own experience, I've came to the opinion that the talk of an 8th chakra above the crown chakra is true. I can focus on it, and feel it, and one time it eased a headache, but when I longer focus on it it causes sickness and feeling ill, even deadly ill. So I guess I can't manage the energy flow in the right way, or, in other terms, am not yet mentally qualified to handle the implications of focusing on this energy point.

the topic how do we evolve towards love is everything you guys said so well and I am just gilding the lily  :)  uhmm  :-/   I'm really pleased with this thread!

to say we are evolving towards love, might be looked at in a way to say, there is more love to feel..that has to do with will I feel this much love tomorrow? or less love than I feel right now?  so with my thought system, I figure everyone is the essence of love already, so we are in that regard remembering who we really are, say, sometimes we forget we are love, then we might believe someone who says that we are not this love.

Like Kathy said, when this love grows in me, I begin to see it in others so much more clearly, and I call this spirit speaking to me.

I could just as easily say love is speaking to me to remember myself.

I really like R's stage scene in the other thread, where all of the players were inside of him, the others were in him, and he in them, and that gives the oneness factor through the emotional body, perhaps the heart, and the spirit.

I like this because I've been experiencing the same thing when I got back into singing.
working on the throat chakra...it's been neglected about 8 years, and through it I am evolving in love. There are many ways, all individualized to evolve into the moreness of love. Writing has to do with the crown chakra, that's where I've been for the last 8 years. mental wheel turning is very good for learning how to listen to spirit reminder to express only love, and making a joyful noise through the wind cage is a welcome relief from all the thinking..

the other night this young girl hugged me for singing.... :) I think I experienced her love! it was like bliss. she was saying we were one, only she used different words, she said I made her happy.

Something from New Earth book,  supports that one person's radiation of love effects the people around them, which in turn, they take this energy into their homes where it effects their family, then this energy continues spiriling it's effects so u can see a little of it is powerful to effect a lot of us..I've also come across this point in other literature, that the shift in consciousness does not really need 51% of the world's population's vote...as I formerly thought it did, it needs much less than that, because it radiates so much further than we can really imagine.

well, I don't know, but it's like you can't be a little bit pregnant, either you are or you're not. So when we speak of this love energy it's there in it's fullest capacity, and the only thing where it wouldn't be there in it's fullest capacity is some type of mental block I would say, which asking spirit to remove the block, or expose what the fear is about, then it disappears quite quickly..usually by tuning back into love.

the beatles...all ya need is love! da da da da daaa!  I think they might have had the right idea... :)

Speaking of love, I love what everybody is saying. Here are some of the messages I've received about sharing love with the World. I've shared a couple before.

1. I saw a retangular plain that represented the World. In the center an uruption of white light could be seen. This eruption represented one person getting to the point where he or she could live according to love completely. This person's white light quickly spread to the rest of the World. After seeing this I very firmly received the words: "Believe it!"

2. Once I received the message, one person teaches love to two people, each of those people teach love to two more people, and so on and so on. This might sound simplistic but it came from spirit. :)

3. One time I saw the World represented as a big salad with lots of ingredients. A stream of dressing poored into the World. I clearly understood this to mean to start pooring love into the World until it is saturated with love dressing, which is even better than ranch.

4. One time I heard the words "second coming." I asked for more information. I was shown a tub of about fifty little chocolate chip cookies. It's a long story how I know, but I knew this meant that if about fifty people live according to Christ consciousness, it will change the World. Next I was show Jesus Christ on the cross. This was an image of the man rather than a crucifix. As far as the stakes allowed, he was bent forward. The feeling I got is that he's experiencing great strain, and some of us need to help him spread love to the World. I believe he is tired of seeing people suffer. So are many other light beings. I figure they love us quite a bit.

There have been others, but I figure the point is made.

hi, appreciated and enjoyed everyone's thoughts on this issue, and don't feel i have much to add, except maybe this:

we move from our ideals of love to residence in love by putting it into practice;... every day, then every hour of every day, until it's second nature, like breathing;...
....also realising that loving yourself for falling short of the ideal is a big part of the daily practice.

I believe that the last point Gordon made is an important point. We shouldn't bonk ourselves on the head when we don't meet our expectations. Life is a challenge.

This thread helps to remind me of my purpose on Earth. I have strayed away from this far too long that I think my life has become messy and chaotic - no more inner peace and wisdom that I once had. Fortunately, it is never too late for me to get back on track with you guys. I just wish you guys all lived in my neighborhood, so that I can pick your brains over coffee at Starbucks and guide me to the right path of living. (sigh)...

I think as you say we move...from idealization, it means to me just to have a willingness to love, as we often have different idea what love is.
you know, analyze ourselves right into a box.

the every day, every hour, until it's 2nd nature, yes, yes, yes.

these points are quite possible, and quite desirable.  good to see you here once more, just as in times gone by.. :)

Hi,

We dont "evolve to love"  "we learn to love" and are promoted to a higher reality when we do.

WOW :) I’m feeling the radiation of LOVE from all of you as I read your posts.

Hi Bets,

Your first words “Love is our destiny…” got me wondering if deep inside do we already know our destiny is love or is this something we must learn through trial and error? I think you are saying it is both and you say this beautifully.

Yes on that higher level it is like a calm still love, but it is also the same love that up wells from within that gives us great feelings of joy as it flows freely through the chakras.  That’s the key… allowing the energy that wells up from deep within to flow without resistance to anything. When we are able to do that we feel at home no matter where we are.

You are so right… all we need do is choose love in every moment no matter what that moment presents to us. To be still and know that I am God… that I am love radiating forth.

Hi Albert,

Yes, this is the way to heal the earth and us. Have you ever wondered how we forgot who we really are and seem to keep on forgetting?

I’ve been told that death is the forgetting of who we really are. Here in the earth we die a little death every time we separate our self from our true divine self. We do this by not allowing the energy of our core to flow freely. We distort and try to block our core essence because we want to avoid feeling pain. Most of the pain we feel stems from the forgetting and each little death we partake in leaves a deeper wound of self-betrayal. Every time we die a small death by not allowing our inner essence to flow freely causes us to be veiled from our true self and in this way we have created the wound that is deep within the psyche of everyone. Every time we choose love and acceptance for what is present in this very moment… even when we are on the verge of panic, we begin to heal this wound.

Hi Blink,

You say this absolutely beautifully!  Thank you.

Hi Spooky,

I would say that you are running into blocks and it is getting the stagnant energy moving again that is making you feel ill. Sometimes it does seem like we feel worse because as the stagnant energy moves it can bring up many issues to deal with that make us feel awful. Being in a state of acceptance and allowing your inner light to flow freely will bring more and more clarity and help the blockages clear. Sometimes we need to “be” with the pain in order to better understand. We need to ask what this unease means to me personally.

Hi Alysia,

Gilding the lily indeed! Beautifully I might add. Thank you dear one.

Hi Gordon,

“Residence in love”  Hmmm… that’s a great way to say it.  Thanks!

Hi Linh,

Good to see you here again. I guess when we’ve had enough experience with pain and suffering we will probably remember to live life through love and wisdom, but I firmly believe that following our heart will lead us to exactly where we need to be even if that is a painful moment in our life.

Hi Alan,

Yes we do learn to love and that seems like a miraculous thing in itself… to learn and discover that within every imperfection, there is perfection.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

Love you all,
Kathy

Hi Kathy, you said: When we are able to do that we feel at home no matter where we are.

this what u said above is a somewhat new development for me, uhmm, trying to think when I first began to feel at home anywhere I go, or whoever I'm with, seems it also gathers a type of momentum and the feeling of being at home, maybe is a comfortable feeling to express; I sometimes express it as being here now, rather than wanting to be somewhere else.

I think as I recall, that feeling was an energy. It began to grow after I finished my book which was like doing a life review, on a life not over yet, but to that point, and not waiting until I had died to do the review.  I would like to make everyone feel at home here now, but know that's quite an idealisitic nature I suppose. still, it's part of PUL.

Feeling at home, at first was strange and new, like being reborn from the spirit, as in religious lore.
and then it was, I recall, a youngster said to me "Life is what happens when you're waiting for it to happen." I thought he was the most intelligent young person I'd come across so far. Later, it was "we are the ones we've been waiting for."

I remember Kathy. Here I go mystically jogging along. I don't think Kathy would mind. I have met maybe a dozen or so people "out there." Lately Kathy has been on my mind for several days and now I begin to think of a person, a female I met so long long ago who said some words to me. Won't tell u what they were, as not really important. Just 3 words she said and then she did a little favor for me "out there."  She was part of a big celebration that I was involved with, also "out there." Now, out there is "here."   Not too long ago Kathy and I were pm-ing each other here. In one of the PM's she repeated those three words that she had said many many years before I met her here. Then, she did indeed do that little favor for me, and the favor she did is to come and speak to us all here, is part of it. sometimes one of us has just the right words for a thread, then we take turns having the right words for the situation needed for evolving into love.

She is, like all of you here, the ones I've been waiting for to meet all my life.

this makes me think of a plan where groups come together.
:) I had the most marvelous mothers day. love, alysia
