Title: National Engineers Week
Post by Lucy on Feb 20th, 2008 at 12:22am
A column in my local paper claims this is National Engineers Week (starting Sunday the 17th). the columnist (a psychologist who gives people advice on human interactions) says:

Engineering is a term that has a lot of negative stereotypes and connotations attached to it, which is unfortunate. What engineering is, most simply, is designing things to work better. I like to think of a lot of what I do in this column as engineering. Hug an engineer this week!

So thanks to our resident engineer, Bruce, who designed a "better" way to explore the after life. OK alternative, but it is a better way for some folks.
