Title: Topic "God"...
Post by Nanner on Feb 14th, 2008 at 2:27pm
Since there are so many versions of "religions", "beliefs" - "cults" and what not -
all which must have been created to irritate the living crap out of explicitly "mini me" - I`d like to read your take on the subject.

There is more than 1 option possible in this poll. Guests are also welcomed to partake in this poll.

The poll results will be shown after the thread has expired. Stay tuned for results.  ;)

Comments are very welcomed.

Thanks for participating, if you do.
Hugs,
Nanner

Hi nanner and alan I love God as he loves me and if God loves me as much as i love him, then there would be unconditional, undying love between me and God.

Father God bless me with your love and all on the afterlife and all in the world.

   Love juditha

Juditha has a good grasp. hi Nanner! you rock!  I have an exploration partner over in Australia. she is also an author. she came up with a phrase I liked concerning that god is love. she calls it the "All Pervading Intelligence"

it sorta gives us a grasp of the attributes of god which include all things good, like justice, love, equality, etc etc.

if I was to make a list, this board would kick me off too Alan!

There’s a great peace in knowing where you’ve come from, why you’re here, and where you’re going. There is great peace in knowing that God’s word is true and righteous altogether. As individual as each human is, so also is his/her perception of God, Jesus, Afterlife and Creation, as one can tell below:

33.3% of the voters stand alone without question and "believe in God" .
11.1% of the voters "believe that God is imaginary".
11.1% of the voters "believe that God is a man made idol".
5.5%   of the voters "do not believe in God at all".
16.6% of the voters "feel that God is, however not like humans are taught that he/she is".
16.6% of the voters "feel that God is the ultimate being".
5.5%   of the voters "couldnt decide"
0.0%   of the voters "felt that God, Jesus and the Devil are all the same being".

Quote:
Quote from http://www.godsaidmansaid.com.
GOD SAID that there is only one true religion. John, chapter 14, verse 6:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

MAN SAID, “Let not your heart be troubled, there is no God,” or, “All religious roads lead to heaven whether Buddhism, Hinduism, Mohammedism, etc., or whatever flavor of Christianity. They all lead to heaven.”

It is very interesting to see the boardmembers and the guests interacting on such a subject. More importantly "that such is done in respect and peace" exchanging ideas, versions and official knowledge, bringing yet another contraversy per say, into the next step of evolution.

Many wars take place, much hatred, blood shed has been done over "exactly such a subject". It is nice to witness that mankind now tends to have grown above such measures of validity.

One thing all posters of this poll shared in common regardless of their choice of answer had been "love".

Thank you for taking the moment to partake in the poll.

Nanner

Your poll is theistic. Why didn't you post it in the "Religion and their beliefs" forum?

(I personally subscribe to a non-theistic view)

I'm not fond of talking about religion in the "Afterlife Knowledge" forum.

It's not the place for it.

My best to you, Tim

Thank you Tim,
As everyone else on this board you as well are freely entitled to subscribe to any viewpoint which you desire.

However "Religion and their beliefs" informational links are static links for newbies to have a quick reference, if wanted. The informational links were not designated for discussion nor polls, thats why one can see that theres no discussion underneath the links.

Surely, if you personally dont want to discuss a poll, then you are able to just skip over the topic altogether and find another subject within the discussion forum which you like to discuss about.

Nanner

Thanks for your sweet & gracious reply,

This is my concern:

At times this forum ( the  Afterlife Knowledge Forum ) seems to be the
"Christian Afterlife Knowledge Forum"

I think that's because people are accidentally posting religious items here.

This is not the forum for discussion of religious beliefs.

This is the open forum that has the spirit of "welcome" to anyone whose curiousity and questions about the afterlife have brought them here.

Here there are scientists, christians, pagans,, buddhists, sufis , hindus, agnostics, atheists, artists, school-teachers, bus-drivers, janitors, doctors, clerks, mystics and engineers....

It doesn't matter how you describe your identity in this forum.

This forum is about questions that transcend specific identity.

Our afterlife is SHARED. ( I hope we can agree about that )

To welcome all beings everywhere, regardless of specific belief,
I think it is best to confine discuss religious discussions to the "religions & their beliefs" forum.

The topic of our afterlife is too important to have any one religious viewpoint be dominant in THIS forum.

( i myself see all religion as a temporary vehicle... not as a way to claim permanent identity )

My gratitude to the interesting & vibrant woman who authored this thread.... you invited me to speak.

Love, Tim

Tim:

Sometimes we get revealed to us, that which we open our hearts to. I opened my heart to the possibility that perhaps Christ does have something to do with divine reality, and had several experiences and received various messages stating that he does. Should what I and others have experienced about Christ be disregarded, because some people won't even look into it? Naw, that hardly makes sense.

As long as it has something to do with the afterlife I feel everyone is entitled to they're own opinion.

......Religion involving God is the MOST accepted afterlife "theory" in existence.
It deserves it's place in discussions.

I don't accept any religion as being true, yet at the same time I will not dismiss the possibility of God existing.

Everyone should come to this forum and be allowed to have they're say in regards to the afterlife.
