Title: Definition of the Ghost??
Post by Alan McDougall on Feb 13th, 2008 at 10:38am
Hi,
Is this brief desription of ghost correct?

Ghost?
.
One who commits suicide will have to remain as a ghost for the period of time that one's body was supposed to exist. A ghost is nothing but a person with no physical body.  our body is made up of two coverings, the subtle body and the The gross body is physicals and the subtle body is made up of the mind intelligencend identification

It is the subtle body which accompanies the soul into the next body at the time of death.
When one commits suicide, one brings one's physical body to an end prior to it having completed it's allotted time.

Thus if one was supposed to live for 100 years, one's next body will be waiting for you after that 100 years. If for some reason one were to commit suicide at the age of 50, then one's next body will not be ready, and one will remain in an ethereal state until the balance 50 years of existence pass.

This state of existing as a ghost is a great suffering for the individual, as they lack the senses through which to act. The desires to act remain, as the mind, intelligence and identification of the subtle body are still existing. But lacking a physical body with senses, it becomes impossible to satisfy the desires one has.

This leads to a hellish state of existence for the soul.
Though the soul leaves the body at the time of death, sometimes due to tremendous attachment to one's physical body, the soul will attempt to re-enter the dead body. It is very hard for materialistic people to give up their bodily attachments and possessions. As such, they sometimes remain around their dead body in the form of ghosts. A ghost is simply an individual who exists only in his subtle body composed of mind intelligence and identification The subtle body accompanies us even after the death of the physical body.

In many other religion the bodies of the dead are cremated to break any attachment that may remain for the soul after death. This allows the departed person to continue onwards on their path.

God is the infinte Soul  .

Greetings,

From my point of view it seems what's said above is quite frequently the case.
But it's still partially based upon punishment as an underlying principle.

What we're trying to do with these retrievals (and all the concepts in Moen's work) is bring the consciousness of Pure  Unconditional  Love  into every situation.
A ghost that is retrieved is reunited with his subtle bodies more quickly when the Helpers get him/her on his/her way.

And as well the world's view is changing too---prayer vigils are held for suicide victims and murdered murderers in order to attempt to send them the PUL that will ease their way into the afterlife.

So I hope the above definition is being changed to include the words 'frequently' and temporarily', etc.

Bets

Ok the suicide part and being forced to be a ghost make sense and all that but what about ACCIDENTAL death?

Either this theory will claim you were MEANT to die in EVERY case which means FATE is very real....

or the theory is you are screwed. You are now a ghost because of the accident. Enjoy your punishment while you wait for your next body. MOOO HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!   :o

Hi I am definetly not waiting for the next body when i get to the spirit world because i'm never coming back on this crapped up planet.

We are all ghosts, just depends on where you end up when you die, this is the one thing we all have to find out when we die.

Love and God bless   love juditha

retrievers do help ghosts move on. so do mediums, so do hynotherapists. its a PUL factor that helps this to occur..I don't think suicide is a good thing..thats committing an act of aggression against your body. your body didn't do anything wrong for you to kill it. its wrong thinking. thats not to say if you are dying anyway, and suffering needlessly you can't pull the plug. you can in exceptions to the rules and not be floating around..there are many helpers in these realms waking up these floaters.
there is order in the universe. there is PUL. its good to study these things for now.

its just a body. when everybody catches on we can't get out of a miserable state that easy to just die, then there will be less ghosts to be retrieving and helping along.
we are in the midst of world changes now to impact our beliefs.

I still disagree. I could choose to end my life at any time. It's not like I have never considered the option. I could in fact have an accident at any time. I believe firmly in accidental deaths.
