Title: Another dream: people trying to find the darkside? Post by Muzac on Feb 12th, 2008 at 6:07am
In the recent times I have been dealing with some fundamentalists, two of my own friends are in fact Evangelists and sometimes imposed their beliefs on me with horror stories of Hell because of not being a Christian, but I also stumbled upon parts of the Qur'aan mentioning Hell for not being a Muslim. I keep dwelling back on this very scared about it. I don't claim any particular religion but do believe in God and have been doing constant searching for the Afterlife and truth. I have my own beliefs sort of and just earlier before a nap, I said out loud that "I want what I believe to be true and not what I'm hearing on extremists sides but I still don't know." I was on my bed so it didn't take very long for me to fall asleep.
It was a short nap, but the dream seemed to last longer. It was kinda chaotic but one thing I do remember is hanging out with people actually trying to find Hell. I don't know why that was the particular aspect of the afterlife they were seeking but that is what they were looking for in the dream. One woman was particularly seeking out. She was younger (about my age) and dressed in a tight black jumpsuit like a pro bicyclist. She strapped herself inside of this giant machine that supposedly spun her around and shook her really fast. I didn't really see what happened after she went in the machine but when she returned she said that she was able to see it, but that she had to REALLY get spun and twisted around REALLY hard and fast, really visualize something (can't remember what it was) and I think say some series of magic words but even then she could only vaguely see it and that it was really hard to get there. I also remember her mentioning something of a way out of there but I forgot what she said about that upon waking. I've had dreams that seemed to be answering prayers, or even obsessive thoughts and out loud sayings answered in a prayer answer type manner, but this dream, this was a weird one. I am kinda stumped as to the meaning of it. Any thoughts? Peace, -David |

I don't consider myself an interpreter of dreams but I would guess that the people are trying to save someone important to them from hell. They seem to struggle to get in but fail and they can see the way out of hell but I doubt the person they want to rescue can see the way out.
One thing is for sure, if someone is trying to find hell then they must have some sort of reason. To get someone out seems to be the most logical reason. Just my 2 cents. |

hi David. from here it looks like you are studying the different religions and seeking your own answers within instead of just following along whatever either group is saying, so you are doing good to look within.
I think hell is for a person, not a location so much as a state of receiving punishment that we might figure we deserve in order to feel innocent of crime once more. the Catholic religion had confessionals for this purpose. to avoid hell. yet if you look at it from another point of view, mankind can create his own self made hell right here and now, if hell is a state of mind, which is the point I'm trying to make, that your kingdom is within and not on the outside of you. it is where you place your attention, that creates your reality. this pertains to looking within again. I have it from good reports that one can be spiritually oriented, and have no religion whatsoever to follow, and these are not put into a hell because there are so many mansions as the Christian religion puts it...hell might be for those whom forgot to say I'm sorry..if they hurt another. I don't know, for sure, I'm 61, I'm not interested to find out where hell is, as I think I climbed up from it a long time ago. its more fun to look for heaven. u seem a brilliant young man. keep looking within. |
