Title: Next US President and effects of Afterlife Post by Nanner on Jan 29th, 2008 at 10:00am
We all know that a well known voted for President of the Nazi Regime had a big part towards the new arrivals in the afterlife, matter of fact 60 Million and I feel that the next voted for President in the USA will have a rather large duty to either clean up a rather selforiented and hatred / discriminating mess done priorly or add to such a mess by means of continueation thereof, therefor being the cause of new arrivals in the afterlife.
as you know each vote does count. Would you say more people are "thinking" consciously when making such decisions such as voting? Love, Nanner |

More and more, I am grateful to each individual who is standing up, offering to be our next scapegoat...
We need a president who can consistently teach us to share with each other. love, blink :) |

Hmmm, yes I agree. (more love and sharing amoungst everyone)
What else are you expecting from the next President? Taking consideration that we have come to learn that "thought processes manifest themselves" as in expectations, same here as in the afterlife. I am really interested in the answers which I will read here. Hugs, Nanner |

The 'illusions' thread kind of addresses this issue too.
I think the biggest issue around electing a president is that the culture of aggression and unthinking self interest interest created by predecessor after predecessor responding to populist materialist demands and enshrined as the national culture makes it incredibly difficult to wean people off this style of leadership. Many don't care what he does as long as it doesn't impact their pocket book or their lifestyle. It's a chicken and egg problem. The West seems to have lost (or never gained) the tradition of enlightened leadership. I'd ask for the spiritual development to know what's right, and the wisdom and experience to educate and ease us in that direction as fast as is possible without bringing the house down. (although so be it if that's what it takes) The trouble is it's very difficult for somebody to ascend the lower rungs of the ladder with that view without getting put through the mincer, and hence rare to get a candidate with that immense capability.... |

I've become cynical about the elections. It seems that new souls want to "fix the world" and they often go off in all directions at once, often carrying a lot of guns and tanks with them. Then, after a few incarnations in positions of power they often get the message and start to look for less conspicuous places to reincarnate, until, like Cayce, they wind up as "just plain folks".
The people who want to be president seem to be more or less of tht same general sort. And they seem to be looking at the election as a "popularity contest" as compared to selecting the person who has experience, understanding, patience, and the right connections. Ideally, a president should have experience operating a state or major city government. There should also be experience in the federal system, since it has its own peculiarities. There ought to be a basic understanding of what Lao Tse meant when his Tao Teh Ching said, "The nation whose rulers interfere the least will prosper the most." What I see is a woman with one Senate term and no governing experience who wants to disarm the nation and create a socialist state. (If she had Roosevelt's acumen, as in writing up the New Deal, this would be different, but I doubt that she's studied socialism in any depth.) There's a relatively experienced senator who seems to be fairly conservative opposing her, but I have no idea what he actually believes or wants. Then we have another believer in fundamentalist Christianity who would share his values with all the rest of us. And we have a hawk who evidently wants more wars. And a few New Yorkers who appear to be political prostitutes, going with whatever pays the best, and then hoping to impose their values for reasons that I find unclear. And so on ... If I were arranging it, I'd put Obama as pres, and Hillary as VP, to draw on her senate experience as chair of the senate, which is what her experience qualifies her to do, and that only marginally. Somehow the Republicans seem to be the little old ladies of both sexes who are terrified of the world and therefor seek to start wars in order to promote peace. The Democrats snce FDR have tended to espouse socialist principles, which only work in very limited cases. Yuglslavia was quite successful with their Workers' Council system in which ownership rested in the public sector, under government advisement, but with competitive payoffs. This country isn't able to run a Workers' Council type of advisory system because it would conflict with privat ownership. And all the other non-syndical socialist systems have already failed as little democracies spent themselves to death. I'm pretty conservative, but I've abandoned my membership in the Republican Party and adopted the Libertarians. Its probably only a hollow gesture, but I feel more moral. :-) dave |

Are 'We the People' really electing the next President?
Or has that decision been made already and 'We the People' only have the illusion od electing the President? |

Dood - I for some odd reason do believe that "(We) You the people" are still incharge of the election. For either way we look at it - "the consciousness creates"!
And no fear folks this is not a thread about politics, but rather a thread about what the politicians are promoting towards the afterlife. Most of us are way past the point of "simple thinking" and look beyond that which "we see" going on, we tend to look "behind the reason for the situation even being there". I think alot of people here in the board are very conscious about the next election. My personal oppinion is: There is no doubt in my mind that either Hillary or Obama will win. Anyone voting for anyone else is "simply casting their valueable ballot out the window ", wasting a chance to help one of the two main Roleplayers to win. If Obama wins the presidency - I believe that it will begin to set a status symbol path for the USA and the world, considering that the world is watching very closely this time. For never in the history of the USA had a black man really dared to stand up to the idiolism (presidency idiolism, that is) of the prior set beliefs of that office. I find that he will reach out and share alot of spirituality in the form of "being different" from his kolleges inturn being the cause for different directions. This is very much needed for the face of the USA, as well as the people living there. If Hillary wins the presidency then it will continue farmost in the same direction which it has been majority of the presidency history there. (History has a tendency to repeat itself) I dont believe because she is a woman that she will change all too many things, for I believe that she had already had the chance to "change alot" during her husbands term - and didnt. And pls. dont insult our own intelligence by saying: "well that was her husbands term, not hers". We all know that a wife can to some degree influence a husband if she wants to. President or no president...lol.. :-? Just think about the last time you`ve had a fuss with your wife and she basically said: "Do you want to be right or happy"? ;) You probably in the long run choose "happy".. ;) Well thats how we women fuss..lol.. We are very intelligent creatures. And with rollers in our hair we even look like little aliens, dont we... I love being a woman this go around..lol..Its fun. Anyway...I do not believe that Hillary is fully aware of the fact that her job also requires "personal diplomacy" in foreign affairs amoungst internal, which I dont think she has, or otherwise she wouldn`t say something stupid like "well Obama did illegal drugs as a teenager". Thats simply dumb! The times of resulting to insult inorder to win are over. If I would have been Obama I might would have answered: "and I picked and ate my boogers as a child too"..lol... But that prooved to me that she`s no different than some whom ran prior office. Looking for faults of gone past, that have no bearing on the person other than in a positive way now. I feel she is running for Pres. only to proove a point that a woman can do it, but once in office she`ll not fully realise that she made it but then it will get to her head. Overall - the need of someone, whom doesnt promote hatred - is here. Someone whom understands what it "feels" like to be different, someone whom cares enough about the american people so not to promote wars anymore for the personal sake of a few and someone who promotes "love". Someone who is "convincing with good judgements of arguementation" instead of "convincing with threat of a new war" to a foreign country. Someone whos "been out there" and "knows what its like being out there", not someone whom has been pampered by a great lifestyle most of their life. What ever the case may be - this next president of the USA will have an impact on the afterlife, why do I say that ~ Because the next President I feel will underline the mortal death rate of a few countries around the world including his/her own people. and I disagree with putting her as VisePresident - for then Obama would have to watch every coffee he drinks. ;)
People whom "are employed in" or "for" the White House "live very comfortably" ok. That has its price for the individual too. |
