Title: Resources recommended by Bruce Post by LaffingRain on Jan 24th, 2008 at 11:55am
Hi all..recently it was brought to my attention by a poster that this board does not tell us exactly HOW to get our own experiences versus just reading about the exploits of others and drooling. So today at the top of page of this website I looked into resources to read and there is indeed many there.
Time is of the essence for most of us and to read everything might be not a practical goal, so I picked out just one book I haven't read as it resonates with how I have been doing my own journeys and collecting experiences. heres the resources url http://www.afterlife-knowledge.com/book.html heres the book I'm interested in, although they all look like good reads: Excuse Me Your Life Is Waiting, by Lynn Grabhorn. This book is an adventure in learning how to bring things into your life that you desire. The technique Grabhorn describes is an extension of what I teach in my workshops regarding using feelings to navigate consciousness. I've personally found the clear description of the author's technique easy to understand and very useful. _______ Using feelings to navigate consciousness is self explanatory, for there is a power and an energy within feelings, used as a communication to self, a communication as a go ahead to explore that feeling. Sometimes a feeling can be so powerful it has caused me to go out of body involuntarily, even though that was not my objective. therefore it seemed "mysterious." If you start using your feelings to explore your own psyche the mystery is no longer a mystery, but a useful tool, as the description above says, to "navigate consciousness." As explorers of this realm we are only beginning to navigate our own unique consciousness. We often talk about setting an intention, but I wonder how many of us set an intention to explore, and also use a feeling? This is different than letting a feeling use you. We are in charge of our feelings ultimately, that would be a worthy goal. And thank you all for making this site what it is, a place to learn, a place to have freedom of expression within respectfulness to other's beliefs however dissimilar those beliefs may be to one another. That is a worthy goal! love, alysia I gotta go buy that book now. To newbies: reading of any material is not required to be a member here, it's part of our freedom. However, it's really nice when we all get on the same page; things happen! so with that last statement, reading Bruce Moen's books are of course the priority for us all to get on the same page, and the books listed above are 2nd in priority. I picked this one only because of my interest in empathic revelations as regarding the use of feelings to set intentions with. |

Alysia - I find that if anyone takes the time - to read within this site - that it gives ample information about how to gain in expereince.
The very first part of learning anything is "taking the time" to do it. What makes this board so truely valuable is exactly that it lets the reader "view inside of the box" from different perspectives, am I right? This board is likely one of the only boards inwhich "objectiveness" and the "right to perspective" is the first commandment! ;) Thats worth more than anything, when trying to communicate any subject. Oh bloody hell Alysia - I thought that just a few more chapters of math and QM would suffice fo this lifetime, but there's a whole new array of material that I (mostly - not totally) have overlooked. So back to work while awaiting the spring thaw. :P
Actually, that's quite nice of Bruce to suggest other people's books. It's a sign of an honest man, to start with. No fear. - I keep discovering reasons to respect Bruce, and this is another one. Thanks, Bruce. d |
