I wonder if any of you 'experienced retrievers' could see if he needs help....

I'm sorry this reply is not based on being a retriever but I just wanted to put in my two cents on this....

A lot of famous people are dying recently needlessly and I honestly think we make it way too hard to get drugs. These guys can go to a number of doctors and keep getting prescriptions because they are famous and have a lot of money. They can keep going if one doctor turns them down and then they have tons of drugs on hand and then they abuse them. We make it WAY too easy to get drugs. We need to have an official logging system which will decline any further prescriptions. Doctors should be able to plug in the customers ID and get a list of all the current prescriptions that way no one can lie and say they have none. Then the doctor must be legally required to decline any further prescriptions based on the results. This way the only way they could kill themselves is with over dosing on the few prescriptions they have... instead of stupidly combining prescriptions they should not even be allowed to have. The whole situation and system disgusts me.

Also if these famous people didn't have all the money to afford these drugs they wouldn't be dying either. Anyways my computer logging prescription system would be a great asset to preventing these things from happening regardless.

Remember old dude, not everone needs, wants, or is ready for retrieval. All I get is that he is in a fog and thinks hes asleep. Getting a long sleep except his mind is still "awake" I don't think he knows he's even dead yet.

I don't mean to be ignorant or anything either. Heath Ledger's death is a real shame. It's a terrible thing... I just feel it could have been avoided.

Hi Dood and All,

A new retriever WhiteHawk has posted regarding her retrieval of Ledger under Retrievals.

Hey Dood, your question was relevant to Retrievals, so I don't think you have to consider it off-topic. Your mind is already on the path, so if your post mentions a topic that is a Forum, you're In, Man!
