Title: "Law of Attraction" DISPROVED...
Post by FUBAR BUNDY on Jan 19th, 2008 at 7:24pm
How?
Well, according to currently popular "law of attraction"
theory, we "create our own reality."
Well, it appears as if we're going to get Hillary Clinton
rammed down our throats as the next president.
I LOATHE this woman, and would frankly rather lose
an eye or a finger than see her become president. In
fact, I voted AGAINST Bush in the last election, in hopes
that a Kerry victory would head off Hillary's march on
Washington. But stupider heads prevailed; and now we've
got all those Bush voters to thank for a situation which
will see us with  a TRUE "CINC of the Armed Forces"
in 2008 (if you know what I mean.)
If there was anything to "manifestation", why would I end
up creating a situation (Hillary for president) which I have known
was a looming disaster since Billy boy's re-election back in '96?
So much for the "Law of Attraction"...

It's hard to see a lot of heart in her - there seems to be so much self invention going on. But:

;) You probably subconsciously fancy her!!

or

:) Perhaps it's that opposites attract. You'd better go off and become a supporter....

Considering the amount and variety of her experiences, being wife of a politician, plus a few years in Congress, I can't see how people feel that she's qualified for Pres. However, her Senate experience does indeed give her a good basis for Vice President, and I'd vote for her in that category.

After hearing her discussion of essentially Marxist economics, "We're all in this together," while maintaining a position of elite power as a Senator, and not doing anything to resolve the inequities of power, I defintely am not a supporter. I place her in the same camp as Diane Feinstein and Sarah Brady, whose efforts to impose gun control come not from safety issues, but because, as she put it, it is first necessary to disarm the population in order to impose a socialist state. Were Hillary elected, her policies might require a lot of us guys to go out and buy supporters. Somehow it doesn't seem very hillarious.

I join you in predicting her march straight to the White House.

I saw an "aura" around her about a month ago. Or maybe only a few weeks, I don't remember when. I just looked at her and she was larger than life. I knew she was going to win this thing.

Hillary Clinton has paid a lot of dues. I guess what bothered me was when she was asked why she stayed with her husband after all the philandering and she said: I thought it was a good investment then, and I still think it's a good investment now.

I guess that's one way to put it.

love, blink :)

Lol Blink, I didn't knew that one! Interestingly, it fits to her voice, her way of speaking, as that is mainly what I know of her over here in Germany, this "controlled toughness" (well, spiced here and there with some hearty sidesteps...)

So, how do YOU like the knowledge that by 2010 or so, you'll
have ATF goons invading your house to confiscate your
firearms (and whatever other property pleases them?)
Me, I think I might take up smoking again if she gets elected;
hell, maybe I'll even just "drop out" of society and become a
crackhead or something. (Why would I want a long life, considering
that I'd spend it as a peasant in a Marxist authoritarian state?)

Hi,
For what it is worth from a remote South African, she comes across very affected insincere and false "It is all about power, is it not". However, she does not differ from the others. Heh!! Let’s not get into politics and off topic.

Is this an american political forum??? are we really concerned about this stuff??
Let us look deeply into the "NOW" which is beyond all thought and evaluation and judgement..
Sure we care who becomes president(actually it doesn't concern me in the same way as I am Australian)
If we all can beyond thought and identification with self concept this stuff is not so important..
check out Echardt Tolle if you dare.
