Title: Bruce's Focus Of Attention, A Personal Report. Post by EternalEssence on Dec 6th, 2007 at 12:26am
A small note, just to report an experience in a sense of changing focus.
I skipped ahead slightly in Bruce's guidebook and read up on the material presented (on 3D and FT). I still have not experienced the "fuzzies" but had a slightly different experience which may be associated. The experience involved flashes, sparks, if you will of mint green and pink around me, off to the left and right, and flashes of white from above. Also, in trying a small experiment last night, using Bruce's post on F27, I entered into meditation expecting to recreate an experience of a 30 minute exercise. To my surprise, while trying to pinpoint various people, events in the 3D, 60 minutes passed. During that period, there was a host of visuals, with one of them being a strong, black male presence that just turned his head and looked at me. Moving forward, there was a presence of several more energy based constructs, eyes and faces, with a brief trek through past some trees. Finally, there was small voice, female, in the distance, deeper. I trailed after the voice -- it was like extending myself to hear something just out of earshot, a whisper in a distant room as one author put it. At some point, An energy surge and a return to C1. There was a moment of "clicking out" which I liken to the fact that this was the first experience in this particular area that I was exploring. As to my experiment, it was my attempt simply to focus my attention away from the physical. Of course, it begged the question, what do I focus on if not something outside of me. How does one make the shift. Now, of course, being in my line of work, I must break things down in parts for others, though I may do them quickly and without thought. This also seems to be a big topic to beginners, so to speak, in making a connection. |

Thank you for the report E.E., i found it interesting, especially the color vibrations you perceived and talked about. Color has always been very fascinating to me, because so many of us see it basically in the same ways, it's very universal, and yet at the same time we may individually have somewhat different feelings or perceptions regarding them.
It is kind of a real life illustration of the interesting Yin-Yang polarity that exists in Creation, and in the Creator, which gets really, really highlighted and polarized in this particular dimension. The eternal and objective interplay of Oneness/The Whole/Stillness with individuality/the parts/activity. But consider that the Whole may be greater than just the sum of its parts (speaking in general, not just to you or any one person). (so if you add up/combine all the parts and it equals 9, then the Whole may equal say 10 for example). This is something that Monroe proposed and implied, and other mystics from many different backgrounds and belief systems also seemed to have implied or directly said. |

During deep meditation, I experienced a merging with the cosmic magnetic mind swirling colored clouds, unknown in our dimension and beautiful beyond description. Time stands still and I exist with source in the ever-changing now, observing creation as an unrolled movie reel with each moment depicted from the alpha point to the omega point, in the finite life of our wonderful universe

hi EE. you asked: Of course, it begged the question, what do I focus on if not something outside of me. How does one make the shift.
___ I don't know :) I'm working on it too. the book by Leland, called Otherwhere, describes is adventures of "breaking thru, from one level of activity, to the next level, similar to Bruce's title of his book "Voyage Beyond all Doubt." the title is self explanatory. the end of doubt. your question rephrased is "is the universe inside of me, or is the universe outside of me, or is location, time/space an absolute concept? In other words, we are all asking the same questions "who are we, where are we, what are we." the way I see it, when we get clear on all that, we'll be almost home, or maybe we already are home dreaming we are here. I don't think while on the Earth, in physical we can find absolute truth which works for all excepting when we meditate on how PUL is a glue and is absolute in that sense.. we can find pieces of truth and we can come together and put it all on the table, see what is of value to us, in that sense. see how I got away from the question? :) does time/space/location/movement really exist...while traveling through dense matter it surely does exist. here we must drive to a location to keep an appointment. on the spirit side we drive an intention over to the appointment. we "think" and it is so. spirit bodies are not obstructed by dense matter, so for them, space, location is not a concern. they move right through other fluid forms all the time. one thing for sure movement seems to be vibration, which also appears as an absolute truth, as well, we can form particles around us as spirit, of various sub planes, to produce a form. I'm working on it. I've picked up some rather intense studies right now, it feels good! I WANNA BE A SCIENTIST MYSTIC! lol. scuse my outburst. :-* back to my ramblings..here, we place our dense bodies into the car, drive to the appointment, get impatient when a red light stops us, because we might be late, but we are at least moving in the direction of the objective..very...slooooowwwly... we are humans who used to be spirits and now our vibrations have slowed down to allow us to participate in the Earth plane as this matter being. we forgot everything we ever learned on the spirit plane, just so we could be "new" here. now vibrations the world over are speeding up. even the Earth is spinning faster, not to speak of my chakras..time goes by faster now as we are caught up in the increase..we are in for the ride of our lives...I'm glad to be here with you and since I'll probably never return to this century time zone, I'm going to savor every moment with friends like you, who help me think. love, alysia :) |

Geetings E E,
It's exciting to hear that several of you 'newer' folks (guys mainly---hmm-mm) are so purposefully moving into these experiences! Pulsar and Phantasy Man also have specific plans for their spiritual development. That's great! On the other hand, I've been remiss in studying this, too passive in letting all this just happen. Yesterday or so Bruce wrote that he thought more would happen in our explorations if we would just 'do something'! So I took that as a stong hint, to do something ;) . As soon as the lights in darkness appeared, I imagined to 'step forward.' This has been suggested by several experienced explorers. I felt the step but not much happened so I stepped again, then moved forward without stepping, but I still had no idea set on what I wanted to do! Duh ---So nothing did happen except the lights changed slightly. Today I thought 'well, I'd really like to meet someone out there." This time as I moved forward, lights changed more dramatically so I moved toward the strongest, pleasantest light field which was a deep rose color. We introduced ourselves and talked abit and did a soulmeld, and now we both have a new friend 'out there.' :) Something happened when I set my intent. Maybe sometimes we worry too much about what is meant by 3D or fuzzy darkness, or darkness filled with light, or what colors the lights are. Maybe we're waiting at that stage for something that's already there. A sense of 'stepping forward' into that darkness seems to take care of the transition. Teehee, like the groom getting ready to hoist his bride through the door, we need 'purpose at the threshold !' Bets :) |
